This was our first time at the Crosby and it is now our go-to-place. It was well worth it and we realized we love SoHo. We typically stay in any of the high-end hotels whenever possible, and I'd now take Crosby Street over any other 5-star place. (If only we knew what we've been missing by staying elsewhere.) The staff... More

The best afternoon tea in NYC by far. Having lived in London, I've been very spoiled when it comes to knowing what a good afternoon tea is. Here in NYC, I've been disappointed not to find a single worthy afternoon tea. The Plaza's tea (twice) was poor (with stale bread, amazingly); the Pierre was unexceptional, dull even; the RItz-Carlton's was... More

In previous years when we traveled to NYC, when we were without kids, we stayed in hip boutique hotels and then later in life with young children we stayed at the luxury chains on central park to take advantage of the child friendly location and creature comforts. Now that we have young teenagers - shopping, dining, shows and "city" experience... More

Can't rave enough about this hotel, my wife and I travelling through US and we're extremely lucky to come across this gem! Hotel is perfect in room quality and service of all the staff we have met. It's not cheap nor should it be!! A lot of thought has gone into the design and facilities. I look forward to returning... More

Room 709 is absolutely my new favorite place to be when staying in NYC! I just hope i will be able to have that room forever... The Crosby Street Hotel is a chic, upscale, dog/pet-friendly boutique hotel with tons of personality and class. The rooms are surprisingly quiet despite the wonderful floor to ceiling windows. I believe they must have... More

The Crosby Street Hotel is a joy. Attention to detail should be its middle name. The rooms or at least the ones we've been in are uniquely decorated and couldn't be more perfect. They have taken pains to avoid the usual hotel design and it shows. It is not for those seeking bargain accommodations but if you are seeking comfort... More

Located in a quiet yet very central location in Soho, the Crosby St Hotel is very close to perfection. Great ambience, terrific design by Kit Kemp (including very interesting artwork), perfect rooms, outstanding service, Gold Leed certified, two great patios, everything about this hotel is top notch and appealing. It even has its own cinema! Been to a few 5-star... More

We stay often at the Crosby's sister hotel in London which we find really cool and great decor and location so we thought we would try the Crosby in New York for a 3 night stay. Its not cheap and our $700 pn room was very small compared to your average US room albeit exquisitely decorated. Normally in quality hotel... More

This was my second Kit Kemp hotel experience, and I am very glad I had the opportunity to stay at this hotel. As the name suggests, the hotel is on Crosby Street in Soho, parallel to Broadway and nestled in between Spring Street and Prince Street. The location is fantastic - you are in the heart of Soho, which makes... More

Staying in SoHo

Neighborhood Profile
SoHo
Once the artistic hub of New York, SoHo is now one of the premiere shopping destinations in the world. Housing everything from the most popular luxury brands to swank boutiques you won’t find anywhere else, this is a sophisticated shopper’s dream come true. Broadway is teeming with big-name stores and people during the day, while Prince and Spring Streets are the other main drags to explore. Take a detour down the quieter side streets to see the real star of the district – the world’s largest collection of intricate and elegant cast-iron architecture. What were once warehouses and art studios are now meticulously restored loft buildings favored by many of New York’s celebrities, making SoHo one of the trendiest addresses in the city.
