Allie's Inn is a great bargain for some travelers to NYC. I agree with the reviewer who suggested it is for the independent traveler. It is a studio apartment, approximately half a block from a subway station, will firm beds and a good breakfast. I loved the fresh fruit and had forgotten how good NYC challah can be. While I... I have to be honest: when I first saw the neighborhood this hotel was in (we arrived at night), I didn’t feel very comfortable, not very safe even. This feeling proved to be absolutely unnecessary as we didn’t even see something that came close to a threatening situation. However, even if it turned out to be a safe place, it’s... More

*The first sentence of the review references the neighborhood, the guest did not feel comfortable arriving at night. He did state there was not any threatening situations. He should have did a little research before making the reservation, On my website alliesinn.com there is a Transportation Tab with a Google map application, he could have scrolled around the map to... When we first got here it really felt like we were home. We ended up getting the suite while we stayed here. The kitchen was already stocked with breakfast foods that we found to be very convenient. The suite was well furnished and felt very comfortable. Allies Inn was right across the street from the subway and was easily accessible.... More

I lived in NYC for 7 years so I know how to get around it pretty well. I don't really need directions on how to get around it. If you are a seasoned NYC traveler and would like some peace and quiet when you lay your head down to rest, this is the place. You can forget about midtown Manhattan... More

After searching around for hotels to stay in while for a trip to Harlem, NYC, I came across Allie's Inn Bed and Breakfast. Normally I stay in a regular hotel but I wanted to try something different. I ended up booking the garden view room and it surpassed my expectations. Everything about the room was carefully planned, from the selection... More

My daughter and I stayed here just recently, from 6/11/14-6/13/14. This place was very comfortable and quiet and although we never met the innkeeper in person, she was very nice and helpful over the phone with walking us through how to get to our room. We were very pleased with that. She also left a handwritten note to welcome us... More

My wife and stayed at Allie´s Inn with a couple of friends. We occupied both Allie´s room and Garden view. Our stay was very grateful and comfortable. Marilyn gave us everything needed to take great breakfasts. Rooms were clean and very well equiped

I booked Allie's B&B on the recommendation of my lovely niece whom had stayed at Allie's while looking at colleges. From start to finish my stay was fabulous. I was in the Garden VIew room which is spacious with many unexpected amenities. The kitchenette was stocked with fresh fruit and fresh squeezed o.j. There was a box of specialty chocolates... More

Based on other reviews on tripadvisor I decided to book Allie's Inn B&B, definitely an excellent decision! I was welcomed by a handwritten, personalized postcard. My room, the Garden View room, was on the backside of the building and very quiet. I had a small kitchen with coffee machine, toaster, oven, and fridge. When I arrived my fridge was filled... More
