This hostel met all our expectations. The room and bathrooms were clean, it was a good location, and the staff was very friendly and laid back. We missed breakfast unfortunately but it's nice they had the option for free breakfast anyway. Highly recommend it!

Just around the corner of Times Square! Me and my friend stayed in a very nice room for two. It was so typical New York! Clean beds, clean room, shower & toilet were down the hall. There were also free pancakes in the morning. A real must for all young people who don't need luxury, only the City!

It's near everything. Very simple but effective. There are lockers on the rooms and the bathrooms are always clean. Breakfast is poor, only pancakes and coffee, but for a dollar you have other options just around the corner.

This is probably the worst hostel I have ever stayed in; Pro's; Friendly staff, Wifi Con's; Dirty, gross wet & mouldy bathrooms, noisy air con, small, dark and dingy rooms, dirty sheets, thin mattresses, smelly, not fantastic location, gross pancakes, took sick whilst staying here, over priced! Would not recommend to my worst enemy

I hope to be objective to give a helpfull opinion: Advantages: -Clear (bathroom, rooms kitchen,..) -Good situated - near Times Square-. -Free kitchen. -Free internet (if you have your own laptop with WiFi) Disadvantages: -Breakfast is included but is very poor (only pancakes) and they serve it only between 9 and 10am...(¿excuse me?...Breakfast is served everywhere from 7 or 8... Yes, the location in excellent, but pancakes for breakfast sucks! Stayed there a week and after 3 days desided going out for breakfast. No orgenised activities. Not such a good value for money as it may appeared. Two bathrooms per floor, no lift. Near underground.

I really enjoyed my stay at Jazz on the Times Square. The breakfast was good. The staff were very plesant and helpful, my friends and I had booked separately but upon arrival they changed it so we could stay in the same room. There were a lot of optional organized activites suchas pub crawls and walking tours available from the... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
