We stayed there for 6 days. Excellent location, very friendly staff. Rooms are small, but clean and good beds. If possible try to get a room in the higher floors. Easy to reach from JFK via E-line. Next to time square. Definitely a place to come back.

We hit New York to celebrate a milestone bday. We had NO IDEA what to expect and had low expectations. Yes NYC hotel rooms are small for the price BUT we were pleasantly surprised with what we got. The hotel is about 5 doors away from a parole office and yes there are passed out folks laying on the sidewalks... More

This hotel is located in the Garment District of Manhattan and is convenient to everything! The subway entrance is at the end of the block and Times Square is a short walk. Surprisingly, all the noise and commotion of the area is left behind once you are in your room. It is quiet and comfortable. The rooms are larger than... More

We stayed for 4 nights at The Distrikt and it would be very hard to find fault with this fantastic hotel. Great location with the subway at the end of the street, plus a handy pharmacy and a good Dean and Deluca store for bakery goodies. We were on floor 30, so the room was nice and quiet with a... We stayed here for our honeymoon in December 2014. We chose this hotel based on the good reviews we had read and we weren't disappointed. As a base for exploring New York this hotel is perfect, just a short walk from Times Square and very close to several subway stops it's ideal. The reception staff are all knowledgable of New... Very happy with our stay here for our honeymoon in November for three nights. The rooms were a good size and very modern and clean, great location within walking distance to Times Square. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed breakfast each morning at the hotel cafe and the food was delicious. We will definitely be back for another... More

Stayed for four nights. The hotel doesn't have many frills but is fine. The staff are truly excellent and more than happy to direct you to wherever you need to go. The area it is in is a bit run down but being a first time visitor to New York, I thought the entire city seemed far more scruffy than... More

The hotel is located a stones through away from Times Square (5 to 10 minute walk) just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of busy New York life. A perfect location just across the road from the Port Authority bus station too. When entering the hotel upon arrival first impressions were as per the majority of reviews I... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
