We stayed here on Sunday May 10th . We were taking the Amtrack sleeper to Miami the next day.The room was small; however, good for the night. They give the usual Fairfield breakfast which was also crowded in the morning for breakfast. DANIEL, THE GUEST SERVICE AGENT WAS FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL.It was a nice stay.

We stayed here for a week in April. Rooms were nice, clean and the Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Thank you. This hotel is in The garment district, close to subway, buses etc and of course not far from Times square They have a breakfast deal with excellent range and hot drinks available just outside the dinning room when... Great hotel in NYC. Close to Time Square, Macy's and subway line. Rooms are clean and comfortable but the friendly staff is what makes the hotel worthwhile. Breakfast is included in the stay, with all day free Starbucks coffee, nice touch after a long day of sightseeing . Also, parking is discounted if you stay at the hotel.

This was the first hotel suite that I have been to where the bathroom and the balcony was actually bigger than the room itself. Both the bathroom and the balcony had a fantastic view of the empire state building, especially at night. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was good, and I loved the free... More

Love staying in the Garment district and this is my 4th Marriott property to stay in the city in the same general area. This one is my new favorite although the pricing was crazy because it was design week. You can get anywhere ...a few blocks to Times Square, a few blocks to Penn Station, a few blocks to Macy's,... I chose New York, in particular the Top of the Rock as my chosen location to pop the question to my beautiful girlfriend. I traveled with my engagement ring in my hand luggage and kept it there the entire time. On arriving at the hotel, I checked the ring was still present (why wouldn't it be; i've been with my... This hotel was in a great location for doing all the tourist stuff. Be prepared to walk! This city requires lots of walking. Location to Subway system a few blocks in any direction, Time Sq was close. Financial district was a subway ride away. Our room was clean, not really any noise, rather small, bath limited counter space. Wifi worked... More

We went for this hotel because of its position. Close to timesquare, rocķfeller, empire. 100 m to the 5th av. Citibike parking just on the corner 37th/5th. Our room on the 2nd floor was quiet and not as small as it is usually reported. They recently added scrambled eggs and bacon to the breakfast menu so you can have a... More

We stayed for 4 nights in late April. The positives - friendly and efficient staff & central location. The negatives - the rooms are claustrophobic and dated & it's a bun fight at breakfast to find a table (which incidentally you have to clean yourself). There's nothing to entice you back to the hotel - no bar or shared areas... More

Can't beat it. Location great. Breakfast very good including dark roast and pikes place starbucks coffee. But most of all the friendly and helpful staff-simply wonderful. Always ready with restaurant tips and transit info including detailed printouts.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
