Stayed there for two nights with wife. Even it was one king bed reserved, we got room with two queen beds upon arrival and had to go back to the front desk for exchange. Rooms are smaller (but it is ok on Manhattan), but room equipment is really worn. Bottom of desk chair was covered by dust and next to... More

Let's just get it out of the way: the rooms are SMALL! Really small. They can barely fit the king size bed inside. Closet is tiny, so not a whole lot of room to put your bags. it becomes especially small if you are two non-couple persons in one room. That said - it's a great location, a clean, quiet... More

"When you are here, you are family". This was the quote of on of the hotel managers (I don't remember his name), and it set the stage for a great 5 night stay, near a slew of other hotels that we have stayed at before that generally fail to meet our expectations. The place is a bit cramped, but on... More

Daniel at the front desk is a great guy. All of your staff was excellent and really cared about our stay. I would suggest that the hotel needs some maintenance. We were upgraded to a suite based on our platinum status. When we arrived in the room, the bathroom pocket door was off the hinges and the whole mechanism hanging... More

Overall the hotel was excellent. Great location for sight seeing, 5 mins walk from times square, 2 mins from the Empire State Building and very close to a huge number of place to eat, bars and everything else New York has to offer - the location is superb. The hotel itself is nice, it has small lobby with very helpful... More

You have to be impressed by the highly efficient use of space in the guest rooms. These are small rooms (this is NYC after all) but the space is so well designed that you don't feel cramped. The decor is tasteful. The hotel is tall and thin, so there are only 6 or 8 rooms per floor, all clustered around... More

Stayed there just for one night. Helpful front desk and decent room. Well located midtown Manhattan.... Walking distance to restaurants and shopping. Near train station. Not the best Fairfield that I stayed in but still a good property.

Nice staff, great breakfast free starbucks coffee!! I highly recommend this hotel, close walking to subway, restaurants, time square, central park etc. Great location. I want to give a huge shoutout to Daniel, he works there in the lobby and was so friendly and helpful. That guy made our visit even more welcoming. You go Daniel. He also recommended the... More

We stayed here on December 27th, 2014. The front desk staff were all so helpful and friendly. They went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Breakfast was a nice touch. VERY conveniently located. Walking distance to many restaurants and Times Square. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Great price too. The only little hitch in our... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
