Dan Arizmendi, front desk agent, was very helpful and accommodating! The staff here seems to value Platinum members. Also, this hotel is in a great location for public transportation, restaurants, etc.

First, I'm a Lifetime Platinum member in both Marriott and Starwood. I've stayed over 1200 nights in my lifetime at Marriott properties around the world. This property is by far the worst property I've ever dealt with. Not because something went wrong during my stay, that happens but it's really how it was dealt with by the manager. I checked... More

We had a king bed in room on the 12th floor - tight space but fine for two people - Empire State Building in view. Staff was very friendly and genuinely interested in making your stay pleasant - we planned to drop off our bags but we were able to check in early! Breakfast was standard and sufficient, Starbucks coffee... More

Excellent location, we could see Empire State Building from our window, in walking distance from Times Square! Poor but acceptable breakfast with Starbucks coffee. Not very big but quite comfortable rooms which could be cleaner especially the floor. Kind reception. For New York City where all hotels are very expensive this hotel is a very reasonable choice!

The stay at this Marriott Fairfield Inn was enjoyable. Everyone at the Hotel went out of their way to make sure that the stay was pleasant. This is not always the case in New York! The room had the basic amenities and the FREE breakfast that was very adequate. There were huge bagels, muffins, real scrambled eggs and either bacon... More

Stayed for 5 nights. This was our first time in New York and we found the location to be excellent - only a few minutes walk from the Empire State Building in one direction and slightly longer the other way to Times Square. We also thought this was a reasonably good value hotel compared to others we considered. We asked... More

I was a little skeptical about staying at this hotel after reading some of the other reviews and also this was our first time visiting New York. I have to say that we were pleasantly surprised.Check in was smooth and took only a few minutes. The rooms are small but we spent most of our time out and about so... More

Apart from a great, convenient location, this hotel is simply average. It serves its purpose. However, I will note that Paulina and Daniel at the front desk were both great as well as the maintenance man who arrived quickly to my room to fix an issue. The rooms are incredibly small -- think the Hudson Hotel in Manhattan small, and... More

I you like your view to be a neighboring brick wall and an air conditioning that sounds like a raging motorcycle every tenth minute it goes on to regulate your rooms temperature you will like this hotel. If not, choose another one. Without the air conditioning on, these dark and cramped rooms soon becomes airless and stuffy and you think... More

We came to the city for a family wedding. We chose this hotel because of location and price, since it's very convenient to Bryant Park, where the reception took place. We checked in and were greeted by a very friendly and helpful front desk staff. We received a wonderful greeting from Daniel, who has a great personality. He also upgraded... More
