I have scored this top marks - Some will not agree but this is my reason - New York is about site seeing so we spent very little time in the room other than sleeping. We had 2 rooms on 7th floor for my wife and our 3 teenage children , rooms cleaned daily , basic but equipped well enough... More

We had 2 rooms , one for me , my wife and son and two daughters in the other - Clean rooms with regular maid service , super friendly helpful reception , good breakfast , great view from our room , free safe in the room. My sister and I stayed in New York for one night with our Mom prior to an 80th birthday cruise. We arrived very early, but the staff were very accommodating. They made sure that Mom was comfortable during the wait and got us into a room as soon as possible. The desk staff also went out their way to assist... More

So if you're planning on using some of your hard earned choice privileges points in Times Square you probably have noticed that this hotel and the Econo Lodge are the closest to Times Square. You also likely noticed that they require similar points to stay for free. I have stayed at both and there is NO comparison. The COMFORT INN... More

The staff was very friendly. The hotel has modern updates. The breakfast was wonderful. The one downer was that the elevator was not working and we were on the top (7th) floor. It was no fault of the hotel as the parts to make the needed repairs were not available. The staff offered to carry our belongings up to our... More

Great Location. Great Price. 5 minute walk to many of the Broadway shows. 3 minute walk to Shake Shack (you must try Shake Shack - even if you have to wait in line - and you probably will have to wait in line). Free breakfast was good - typical mid-tier hotel breakfast food (next time I will try the Waffles).... More

This hotel room was tight for two people but was near everything! It was 1.5 blocks from Times Square, was on the same block as our Broadway show, was 1 block from the Subway, a short walk from 5th Ave, Central Park, great restaurants, and plenty of other tourist attractions. The price was great for the location. I would stay... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
