This hotel is located within walking distance of everything you want to see near Times Square and right down the street from the Broadway theaters. It is close to the Port Authority Bus Station and the Subway, which is great for easy access to other attractions that are not so close (like the Statue of Liberty). There are plenty of... More

This hotel has modest sized, clean rooms and is very well located, being close to both the subway (half block) and Times Square to the east and most Broadway theatres. There is a good variety restaurants on the same block as well as in the "Hell's Kitchen" area to the west. The price includes a good breakfast (with additional coffee/tea... More

I read a few reviews on tripadvisor after booking this place and I was a bit concerned about what I would find. Contrary to the negatives the place was in a great location, close to Times Square, very cheap and all round impressive. The staff were extra pleasant and friendly. Nice warm room in the middle of a NY Winter!

Thursday night on W. 44th street is Trash night. And if you get caught behind city trash truck, you are trapped, no way to back up, construction work eliminates space to move around. Spent 45 Minutes waiting for trash men to load thousands of bags into truck from office buildings. Parking garage across street from the Comfort Inn was convenient... More

I stayed in a double room. The room was a decent size for a Manhattan hotel as they usually tend to be small. The beds were on the small size more like a twin bed. Glad I didn't have to share that bed. One elevator can be hard to catch at times. Lots of places to eat near by. Times... More

I recommend this hotel to everybody, great location, great price, great staff and perfect breakfast. Anyone wants to stay a walking distance from Times Square, go for this hotel, Subway is a walking distance and you'll find so many restaurants nearby too.

I stayed for a couple of nights. It has an excellent location. Very close to the subway and Times Square. Got a great price for that part of NYC. Rooms not really big, but it is Manhattan. Good hot breakfast included. I would stay again.

So I had my reserves on booking this hotel and frankly I was going to book the one in Times Square South, but by accident this hotel was selected. Yes, pretty quite dumb from my part, truth be told I'm happy of my mistake. Though there are mostly good reviews on this hotel there's also bad comments and that quite... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
