DO NOT STAY HERE. I stayed here with my partner for a conference I was attending and was extremely disappointed in both the accommodations and the service. My post will be too long if I go into all the things that are wrong with this place but just to name a few: -You get absolutely nothing more than just a... More

We stayed for 6 nights. We, too, were left on the front doorstep after arriving at our nominated time (4pm) wondering if we were going to get in. Camped on the doorstep with our bags, in the cold, a family member just happened to arrive some 30 minutes later, and let us in while he called someone else to find... More

I highly recommend this Guest house for anyone who is visiting New York. Myself and my husband visited the guest house for a 8 day stay, from the moment we arrived to the moment we left we were treated so well. The family who own the guest house showed us so much love nothing was too much trouble. The hotel... More

Indigo Arms is a beautiful place to stay. Once you enter the brownstone you feel right at home. You get this warm feeling of relaxation and safety. My group stayed in the 3 bedroom apartment, The staff is great and was very helpful. One of the owners gave my husband her parking space, so that he wouldn't get a ticket.... More

Although the rooms are spectacular and the location is central, safe and close to public transport, our stay was a huge disappointment. Having repeatedly told the owner that we would be arriving late (11 pm), we arrived to find the doors locked. There was no reply to our initial ringing of doorbells (and no indication of which bell to ring).... More

I had a great stay at the Indio Arms. Outstandingly beautiful house. The renovations carried one back a century....I was very impressed. The staff was helpful. The location was near an express train, 4 stops to 42 street. Can't wait to go back!

When we arrived at the address we thougth we may have made some mistake. The guest house wasn't named and it wasn't obvious from the outside that we were at the rigth place. But once we went through the front door into this beautifully renovated brownstone house with funky furniture and spacious rooms we knew it was definately no mistake!... More

I visited NYC for the first time and wanted to stay in a b&b. I picked the Indigo because of its location in a historical area and because it was black owned. The website was very impressive...(mistake #1). After calling in for my check in town, I arrived to the b&b only to find the doors locked remind you its... More

Indigo Arms was clean and safe. It's close to the subway and bus. We were able to get to Times Square, on the express, within 15 minutes. I slept well. One night, even with the window open. It's a brownstone, so you'll have to climb stairs, if you're on the second floor. When checking for places to stay, other reviews... More

From the moment we arrived we felt really comfortable and welcomed. The room was clean, nice and cosy. We just stayed one weekend, so we tried to spend most of the time in the City itself. It was really hard to leave early because it was so nice staying in the room/ in bed and enoying the silence and the... More
