The people at the "W" New York Downtown hotel were awesome. Very friendly, and accommodating. Beautiful hotel, spacious rooms. The best part of this hotel is the location. Easy access to everything you want in Manhattan and Brooklyn without the craziness and congestion. Highly recommend it.

My sister and I spent 3 nights at the W Downtown NYC in July 2015.We were upgraded at no additional cost and had a spectacular view World Trade Center, the reflecting pools at 9/11 memorial, and the museum. (Photo attached). The room was clean, the staff really helpful, and the location was PERFECT! Thanks to Andrew (the concierge) (for answering... More

It is a nice hotel located central downtown with walking distance to Wall Street, Tribeca, Soho, China Town, Brooklyn Bridge and the nice Battery Park area. The hotel is clean and trendy wih a nice rooftop terrace! It is a little bit noisy since it is on the side of the construction area of World Trade Center. Bar is trendy.... More

I have traveled all over the world, usually with my husband. This time around i decided to do a Mother/Son vacation to new York city. This Hotel is so intimate and Stylish. The concierge "Andrew Brown" is the most wonderful and knowledgeable customer service rep i have ever come across during my travels. He goes out of his way to... More

Our room overlooked the 911 memorial and the beautiful One World Trade Center. Awesome view night and day. My wife and I never heard a sound from outside our room during nights. The room was modern and clean and the king bed was very comfortable. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. We were able to store our luggage... More

Great hotel ! The only down fall is it's in the cut, therefore hard for taxis to know how to get to the hotel due to one way roads/construction. But the hotel room is really nice. The best one I ever been and room service nice. The food is expensive but worth it.

This hotel is a stone's throw from the 9-11 memorial and it's a fairly up and coming spot in New York. So no wonder there is a fashionable W hotel in the neighborhood. The hotel is trendy and swanky, and between the hours of 5-10pm the lobby seems to always have something going on. I would recommend this hotel to... More

Staff not friendly, front desk agent sat on a stool, did not look up at all during check in. Had no idea what he was saying. Did not tell us about area, no maps, no interactions, worst experience at hotel ever. I picked hotel because my boyfriend had never stayed at a W before. Not impressed. Barking dog above us... More

We had five traveling together to show our children NYC and the 9/11 Memorial. This is the best hotel to do both! Great location overlooking the Freedom Tower - big rooms for NYC standard - we had two queen beds and a baby crib and lots of suitcases and all fit fine. Great recommendations on where to eat. Must book... More
