Enjoyed a long weekend in NYC at the Eventi. Great customer service, quaint clean room, nice bathroom, and the evening reception on the patio proved to be a great touch!

We spent three nights at the hotel, and found it to be up to the usual Kimpton standards for service and comfort. As noted the location is good, however it is sort of neither here nor there (ie not really where you want to be in midtown, but not really in the villages either). Very convenient for Penn Station (5... More

First let me tell you I travel on business a lot, and when I can, I stay at a Kimpton hotel. Why? Lots of reasons. Chic decorating. Friendly staff. Good restaurants. Great frequent flyer program, all at prices better than the cardboard cutout competition. Kimpton has made a habit of acquiring properties in "developing" neighborhoods and renovating them. The gyms... More

I am a Kimpton hotel fan (usually stay at Ink 48). Needed spa appt so it was close to my office so I booked it. Massage was very good and was normal NY price. Dinner- excellent. Nice wine selection. Excellent artisnal cheese plate. Had grilled whole fish which came with an excellent salad of greens with dressing which was made... More

My wife and I stayed for 5 nights at the Eventi back in December 2011 to do some shopping and generally soak up the New York Christmas atmosphere on our was back to the UK from trip in Central America. As many people have pointed out the location is fantastic. We've been to NYC several times but have never stayed... More

This was a great location for our weekend visit to NYC. Close to transportation and within walking distance of decent shopping. The hotel was very modern. Everything was nice which is expected in Kimpton Hotels. The room was small, but decent size for NYC. Although small, the space utilization was excellent. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean. We... More

Loved this hotel for just about every reason. Location is ideal for shopping around 34 street of if working with the clothing market. The decor inside the room was tres chic contemporary without giving up on comfort. The seconf floor has a great lounge area for drinks, coffee or just to catch up on work. You can find a great... Great location and very central to everything. I lOVE Kimpton hotels and this one didn't disappoint. They offer everything you can imagine complimentary. I love the happy wine hour at 5 too. I didn't eat at the restaurant but we had a few drinks and nibbles at the bar which were good. It's not a hotel I'd recommend if you... More

Stayed here in Feb 2012 for a four-day business trip. Booked the standard room on a SniqueAway offer, but was told we could upgrade to a suite on arrival, which I told them we would do. Check in was 3pm. So, got there at 1pm and tried for an early check-in. Room wasn't ready and there were no suites available!... More

I recently stayed at the Eventi for an overnight business trip to NYC. The hotel was recommended by the group hosting the meetings I was attending. We received a substantial discount off of the rack rates, which in retrospect was a little surprising. I arrived very early on a Wednesday, getting to the hotel at 11:00 AM. I did not... More

Neighborhood Profile
Chelsea
Home to hundreds of art galleries, beautiful brownstones, and one of New York’s newest and most popular attractions, Chelsea is one of the city’s jewels when it comes to neighborhood life. The contemporary art scene is an integral part of the neighborhood’s identity, with gallery openings almost every night of the week and countless exhibits to explore. As a longtime hub of gay culture in New York City, it’s also a diverse district with a vibrant nightlife scene. The opening of the High Line, an abandoned elevated train track transformed into a world-class pedestrian park, gave this neighborhood new life as a tourist destination. The High Line provides visitors with a tranquil, elevated space with incomparable views, providing an unparalleled way to experience the city.
