We booked this hotel at the last minute when a vacation rental we had reserved fell through. Since we were going to be in town for a number of nights, we were looking for someplace with a larger room. The Eventi was perfect for this. We were in an Executive 1 Bedroom Suite that had a nice work area, a... More

The Eventi has gotten a facelift with a new lobby but luckily- the staff has stayed the same. I've been coming here for years and its easily my favorite hotel in NYC. Victoria and Kevin welcome me like a returning family member. Top Notch service! If you want advice on where to dine, drink or sight see- they are ready... More

What a great find. The room was well-decorated and had a King Size bed which is somewhat hard to find in NYC hotels. The bathroom was large and well-appointed. Breakfast was great (you pay NYC prices).

I spent two weeks in a one bedroom suite on vacation in December as a solo traveller. The hotel is well located on sixth ave and 29th in Chelsea a couple of blocks from herald square, Macy's and other stores. Subway is also only a couple of blocks away on 28 and Broadway. The one bedrooms suites have a lavish... More

I came to the Big City alone for training from Buffalo, NY and I have to admit... I was TERRIFIED! I was worried about navigating the city alone, looking like a conplete tourist, and starving to death because I had no idea where was a great place to eat. When I stood in the posh new lobby I was immediately... More

This is a small hotel in an excellent location. Service is excellent: prompt and friendly. There is morning tea and coffee available. Rooms are cleaned everyday by noon. Décor is modern/contemporary, new with clean lines. Bathroom has marble walls and floors. This is a good touch for such a small hotel. It's all we need in New York. The bed... More

I spent a week in this hotel a couple of years ago, with my boyfriend. I had a good experience, the hotel is central, close to everything (metro included). It's not cheap, but if you choose a 4* hotel in NY you probably know you cant pay less. We had an amazing room, a deluxe one, very big and comfy.... More

I stay in NY on business regularly and the Eventi is my goto place every time. I have visited several other hotels in midtown, and while there are some standouts for me the Eventi is where I call home. It stands head and shoulders above most hotels in the area and the staff are just wonderful. Rooms are clean and... More

Really lovely modern hotel yards from Empire State Building and Macy's . Good room size , lovely staff . Great bar and restaurant for breakfast (did not eat dinner) . Only gripe is that they have no automatic doors at the entrance so when you have your cases or shopping it is difficult to get out

Recently stayed at Eventi as a family. Hotel was undergoing a lobby reconstruction, but did not hear any noise in our room. Excellent location to access shopping, restaurants and subway. Staying in Chelsea

Neighborhood Profile
Chelsea
Home to hundreds of art galleries, beautiful brownstones, and one of New York’s newest and most popular attractions, Chelsea is one of the city’s jewels when it comes to neighborhood life. The contemporary art scene is an integral part of the neighborhood’s identity, with gallery openings almost every night of the week and countless exhibits to explore. As a longtime hub of gay culture in New York City, it’s also a diverse district with a vibrant nightlife scene. The opening of the High Line, an abandoned elevated train track transformed into a world-class pedestrian park, gave this neighborhood new life as a tourist destination. The High Line provides visitors with a tranquil, elevated space with incomparable views, providing an unparalleled way to experience the city.
