Yes, there is a train passing by this hotel, but your not in this city to sleep te whole day. it is The city that never sleeps. So after a daywalking around in this beautiful city, you will get tired and probebly have a very nice sleep. The people in the front desk, is very polite and helpfull, even at... More

I read the (mostly negative) reviews before I stayed at this hotel, and decided to try it anyway to save some money. I was just in town one night to see a band and I was by myself. Hotel was recently updated and is in decent shape. Hotel staff was friendly. Room was small, but bathroom was decent size. The... More

This seemed like a good deal, i had booked 5 nights for $525, when I arrived they added 15% tax (NY tax is 6% ). Then they couldnt get my card to work on their machine so i had to go and get cash out. At 0130 the fire alarm went off in my room (only my room) the night... More

You deserve better, dont do this to yourself. We were gonna stay 2 nights. But the 1st night was awful. The bed is so hard that we couldnt sleep at all. I tried to see was it a mattress on there and it was not at all. It is a boxspring with a board on it. So the next morning... More

The hotel is new, clean, and non-smoking. The staff was friendly. The hotel rate is one of the lowest I've seen. The rooms were small but cozy. The subway station was close by and it made it very convenient to travel all around the city.

The hotel is recent and clean. The front desk staff members were pleasant and helpful and we had no problems with water. Besides, the B/DF subway stations are walking distance. The Manhattan Bridge where trains run constantly is very near and it is noisy, but we had no problems. However, I do not recommend the hotel. Before this hotel, we... More

The hotel is located in an interesting, vibrant neighbourhood, in which I felt safe, even late at night. the train is noisy but didn't bother me at all during my stay. The rooms are small, but clean and the staff were extremely professional and helpful. An entirely positive stay, but the bed was the hardest in the universe!

The hotel is recent, pleasant and clean. The room was clean too, even if quite small. However, I experienced several little problems with the bathroom: very low pressure on the bath, a toilet leak and towels unchanged / dirty. The second matter was never fixed. I had to turn off the pipe every time I was not using the toilets... More

okay, you have already read the stuff about the very lousy location. So, here's the deal. It took 45 minutes to check in, because they couldn't figure out how to deal with our credit card and how to deal with their third party booker (we did book on the website). They told us there was no continental breakfast, only coffee... More

Staying in Chinatown

Neighborhood Profile
Bursting with an amazing array of sights, sounds, and smells on every block, a visit to Chinatown feels like entering a different world. It’s a colorful spectacle that gets even more crowded on weekends, when families stream in to enjoy huge dim sum feasts and to stock up at the markets on Mott Street. To take a break from the buzz, grab something sweet from one of the many bakeries in the area and head to Columbus Park, where many Chinatown residents exercise, play games, and chat the day away.
