Yes, the staff was - every single person I interacted with - attentive, polite, and personable. That's the good part. The not good: the "beds" are box springs - no mattresses. There is NO padding - just a box spring with a thin mattress cover over it. It was horrible uncomfortable, and basically like sleeping on a floor. The room... More

We recently spent two days at the Hotel during the hottest spell of the season. The room size is typical new york size for other than brand name hotels. The bed was quite firm and we do think it was only a box spring. The walls had stains all around the room making us wonder about its cleanliness. The shower... More

The room was actually not too bad, everything was clean. But there was weird marks on the sheets and the bed was the hardest I've ever had in my life. Considered sleeping on the floor but didn't know how clean it was. Bit noisy with the trains across the road, and a couple of blocks from the subway. Breakfast was... More

We headed out to NYC this past weekend. Didn't have many options so took the risk and booked it here. The hotel is in a decent location close to little italy and soho and it's clean. The beds are horrible...I think we were actually sleeping on the box spring mattress. On the plus side, staff were friendly and as I... More

I recently stayed at this hotel. My mother and I decided to book because of its vicinity to local attractions and its affordability;however, after one day, that was all we could stand. First, we were early so we couldn't check in upon arrival so the men at the front desk said we could leave our luggage with them. When we... More

We stayed for 4 nights in this hotel in the middle of March. Not bad choice for little money - you will live at Manhattan so you can walk across bottom of the island - not a problem to get Financial District, Battery Park and even Midtown (we walked to Empire State Building but it was quite long trip :)... Cheap place in Chinatown but perfect to sleep after an exhausting day. The room was small and the mattress quite hard but we slept like babies. It was cleaned, and the towels in the ensuite bathroom changed everyday. Staff couldn't be more helpful and nice. For the excellent price we also got breakfast consisting of coffee/tea and a lovely croissant/omelette,... More

Maybe the cheapest place in Manhattan today, for the same price than a YMCA, you have your private room with private bath (not just a shared shower). The staff is friendly and try to help you if you need assistance. For sure the bed is hard, very hard you feel sleeping on a wood board, but you sleep well if... More

We found this hotel friendly and welcoming and the rates were really well priced. The room was tiny, could only just get my case around the bed but the bathroom was a good size. The bed was awful!!! I also found breakfast (which was included) very disappointing, there were only choices of a ham and egg roll or a sweet... More

Nice hotel located on china town, not far from everything else in the city, small room barely got the queen bed with a little walking room around it. Had a nice flat screen Tv though. Had a decent selection of channels. Bed was hard as a rock! Bed consisted of a bed board and a 1 to 2 in pad.... More
