Although this hotel is located at the heart of Manhattan, management does a poor job of maintaining the hotel to minimum standards. Cleanliness - 0/5 The hotel was quite filthy. We received dirty towels and bed sheets. At times, room service did not bother changing the sheets despite having finished "cleaning the room," until we had to call and request... More

The rooms are very small, but they are clean and far more affordable than most things in the city. You are right next to the Manhattan Bridge, but there are double windows that block out most of the noise. The staff is very nice and will store your luggage for you for free for a few hours after you check... More

Stayed here 4 nites in chinatown area with good access to city by subway 2 blocks away. Basic accommodation with no fridge, no fridge, no fridge, no tea coffee in room and internet was slow. Don't spend time in room when in New York and staff were very helpful. Would stay here again.

The hotel is not hotel lookalike, unpleasant and dated. Very basic, nothing special. we stayed there because we made a mistake in our booking in another hotel, and we wanted the cheapest in that area. Location is very good. I wouldnt recommend it unless you didnt really care about little details.

Reviews on booking.com were not representative of hotel standard at all. Wish I'd checked on here first. Rude stuff, followed by a pokey room, with hairs and everywhere, AC that had no controls in room and came on unexpectedly throughout the night waking us up. Unwashed bedding and poor bathroom facilities. The location isn't terrible but there is a distinct... More

We loved it. It was a pretty small room but it had everything we needed. Convenient location and clean. Very friendly staff. Underground parking just across the road. Very close to bridge/subway, I am a light sleeper and the noise didn't bother me during our stay. I would consider staying there during my next stay in New York.

Staying in Chinatown

Neighborhood Profile
Chinatown
Bursting with an amazing array of sights, sounds, and smells on every block, a visit to Chinatown feels like entering a different world. It’s a colorful spectacle that gets even more crowded on weekends, when families stream in to enjoy huge dim sum feasts and to stock up at the markets on Mott Street. To take a break from the buzz, grab something sweet from one of the many bakeries in the area and head to Columbus Park, where many Chinatown residents exercise, play games, and chat the day away.
