We picked the French Quarters for its location, breakfast, and affordability. It was more than we expected! The staff was very helpful and friendly, room was clean...we even had a beautiful view of the city. Even better was the fact that the subway, local eateries, Times Square and Rockefeller Center were within walking distance. I loved the Keurig coffee maker... More

Long overdue review from our trip to NYC in August 2014. Myself, my husband and our 6 month old daughter stayed 10 nights at the French Quarters on recommendation from friends who'd stayed there and we were certainly not disappointed. I booked directly with the hotel which was a very easy process and a reasonable rate. Hotel is in a... More

Just want to thank Colin for a great stay. Forever willing to point us in the right direction. Perfect location, great range of restaurants in the street and so close to Time Square, Subway, and Broadway. Highly recommend, The Aussie couple 202.

We stayed for three nights in December and we thought this hotel was fantastic. When we booked it we were clearly informed that our room was above the bar and therefore there would be noise. Yes there was some noise but it didn't disturb our sleep as we were prepared with ear plugs - it did not affect our stay... More

My husband and I had an overnight in NYC and just got back. I was so impressed with this hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the room we got was incredibly charming - in fact we got an unexpected upgrade which was wonderful. The hotel is right on "Restaurant Row" and at night it was so much fun... More

My husband and I stayed here recently. It was perfect. The rooms and bathroom are immaculately clean with a French, classy décor. The bed and pillows are super comfortable. Our room was ready at noon when we arrived and we got to check in early (None of the "check in is not until 3:00 nonsense). Colin, the manager, was very... More

Excellent location. Room was very big, and well equipped. Nice coffee machine. Bathroom was very good and modernly designed. Can be noisy from the street or the nearby restaurant at night. Breakfast was OK, good selection of cereals and fruit.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
