Not many options in this area. This hotel has a small lobby, just a reception desk at the end of a corridor. However, the bedrooms are well-equipped and spacious. The bathroom was well-updated with a good-sized walk-in shower. The bedroom, a little noisy at night overlooking 46th street, but also well-equipped plus a kitchenette. My total bill with taxes around... More

My wife and I stayed at The French Quarter this past weekend. We both found the hotel accommodations excellent. The rooms are very clean and spacious and very well decorated and comfortable. It almost felt like I was staying in a high end bed and breakfast in the middle of Times Square. The location of the hotel is perfect.. It... More

Located amongst a number of really wonderful restaurants and bars, you may actually pass it while searching for it, but once you do find it, it's very easy to locate. It's also walking distance from the world famous Times Square. The entrance is a tiny space with just one desk where you have to check in. We were warmly greeted... More

Just back after a 5 night stay, room 501 a 2 bed suite was great. location - right in the middle of everything food - had a bar meal and it was tasty and very good value, breakfast was fine though we preferred to be out and about sampling all NYC has to offer. staff - friendly, welcoming and efficient... this is my third visit to the French quarters and it didn't disappoint me at all! the staff is fantastic and are always willing to go above and beyond to make your stay pleasurable. The rooms are clean and the location can't be beat. In the middle of everything yet private and quiet.

Great hotel only a few minutes walk from Times Square. The rooms aren't huge but they are clean and well designed and I think it was good value for money. We found the staff are friendly and very helpful, I'd stay there again.

We have stayed at the French Quarters a couple of times and had consistently comfortable, pleasant visits. Most recently, we stayed in a suite with teenage children. We have found the rooms to be spotless, well-maintained and well-appointed, the included breakfast to be quite pleasant (good croissants!) and the staff to be gracious and attentive. Breakfast is served on a... More

I have stayed at many hotels around the US, and was very impressed and pleasantly surprised by The French Quarters Guest Apartments on 46th in NYC. From the friendly staff(in new York city!!) to the elegant and smart décor and appointments of the room. Also the level of quality given to the small important things like an actual keurig in... Having visited NYC several times, I decided to give this hotel a try several weeks ago. If you're into the cheesy tourist trap that is times sq then maybe this hotel is for you. This isn't a true NYC experience, however. The whole experience was just annoying - not sure what I was thinking when I stayed here.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
