We first visited this hotel for my 4th in 2012 after it was recommended by a friend, and we returned 2 years later taking the inlaws. The rooms are large for NYC and breakfast is included in the price. Superb location for times square and within easy walking distance to the subway. Staff were superb and nothing was a problem.... The room is very cosy with a beautiful French style decor, comfortable bed, luxurious bathroom with l'Occitane toiletries. The personnel is very responsive and helpful. They also serve a complimentary breakfast - the variety of food is very good. Keep in mind that the neighborhood is very busy since it's Hell's Kitchen. Though the street outside is quite noisy you... More

This was my 3rd visit to New York (1st for Mum and Sister). I stayed in the Radisson on Lexington Avenue on my first stay which was a good hotel, again in a nice location (This hotel has now been refurbished and is more expensive than when I stayed) and I also stayed in the Crown Plaza in Times Square.... My wife and I stayed here with our three daughters (17-22). We stayed in room 402 which has: one large room with queen bed, chair, ensuite; one much smaller room with queen bed and wardrobe and a shared lounge area between with bathroom , microwave, coffee machine fridge and very comfortable double sofa bed. We didn't have breakfast. Free wifi.... More

We stayed at The French Quarters on our honeymoon and first time in NYC, lovely quaint little apartment that we'd been upgraded to as soon as we arrived - great start. The staff even left a bottle of Champagne for us in the fridge! Nice sizeable room with vintage style decor. Extremely comfy bed and all amenities at a clean... More

We didn't know what to expect on our first trip to New York. We booked the French Quarters on the strength of previous reviews and I can honestly say we were not disappointed. Firstly the accommodation is in an excellent location with Times Square, Central Park, Empire State and so many more major attractions within walking distance. The accommodation was... More

It would be nice to actually be able to sleep but music is loud and the bass is pounding. So very disappointing and disappointed. Perhaps we are "nobodys " so the hotel didn't care where they stuck us. I know where I want to stick them.....

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
