I have stayed at the French Quarters Guest Apartments twice now, and they have become a staple of my travels to Manhattan. A few reasons why.... Location, location, location. Can't be beat. Staff that knew me by name - Can't be beat. Staff that proactively contacted me after I left because they found something I forgot in my room (and... More

Staying at the French Quarters continues to be a fantastic experience! My family and I choose to stay at this boutique hotel over the Christmas holidays and will stay there again with my extended family at the end of March. When it became known that a relative was celebrating a milestone birthday, we immediately thought to stay here. It is... More

We stayed at The French Quarters for our first venture to NYC. Our five night stay was upgraded to a king room (something to do with our recent nuptials in Las Vegas). Fabulous location -- so close to everything. Continental breakfast included (thanks Kevin). Ask for one of the bay windows -- it's so nice to look out toward Times... More

We stayed in the French Quarters for a week in Feb 2015 during one of New York's coldest spells. Upon arrival we were upgraded without request and then shown to our rooms by John who was very friendly and helpful. Our room was number 208 in the townhouse next door, which was up one flight of stairs, this was no... More

What a find! Our second visit to NY and to this great little hotel. Colin and all his team go the extra mile to welcome and ensure you have all you need. All the staff are polite, helpful and conscientious and the added bonus of the elevator straight to the bar/grill is brilliant! Most certainly recommend this hotel and its... More

Spent two nights in a room with two double beds. Warm welcome in a tiny front desk room. Was actually brought up to the room and shown around...not my usual experience checking into a hotel! It's a small property in a great location, easy walk to Times Square, Theaters, great restaurants. Lovely, small room...great bathroom. Complimentary breakfast in a nice... More

Two friends and I stayed at the French quartersfor a week in September 2014. It was such a lovely place to stay, the location is fantastic just a few mins walk to time square. The room it's self was lovely, quite small but that is to be expected in NYC everything was clean, the bathroom was again small but clean... More

On arrival we were upgraded to a beautiful room. Very clean amenities and top quality toiletries. The location is fantastic! Walking distance to almost everything and if not, hop on the subway which is a 5 min walk or so. You're on restaurant row so good options are endless! The included breakfast is a great start to the day. I... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
