Check-in was really quick. We had a double queen room for 3 adults. It was very small with not much space for luggage etc. The beds were very comfy and changed regularly. The bathroom was very clean with complimentary shower gel etc. the overall decor was very tired. Breakfast was good with a lot of choice. Reception staff were very... More

This place was great! We booked it because the price was reasonable and I'm glad we did. It's in Chinatown, maybe not the most scenic, but interesting nonetheless. It's two blocks from a subway station, so it's pretty easy to get where you need to go. We were able to walk to Battery Park from the hotel in about 25... More

A nice, not too expensive hotel located in Chinatown. Very close to Grand St subway and within walking distance to Canal and Bowery stations. Lots of atmosphere in the neighbourhood, with local chinese stores, restaurants and the park across the street where Chinese people did chi gong in the mornings. Our room was small but clean and the only thing... More

Hotel first impression wasn't good from outside, surrounding area was a let down, graffiti, litter, lads on corners. But once inside the hotel was fresh lookin. Bedroom was of good size, though the look out of the windows was not a good view run down blocks of apartments. But room was clean bathroom had plenty of room with a walk... More

this property is located in chinatown, so you feel truly immersed in the culture. the room was clean and small but considering we were out and about, it suited our needs perfectly. the "hot" breakfast was not so hot - in fact, it was cold. at least there was a microwave. the orange juice was VERY Weak. staff was polite,... This hotel is centrally located on the east edge of Chinatown, close to Grand St subway station and within walking distance of Bowery and Canal St. stations. These subways gives you quick access to most of New York City. We always felt safe in the area. Attractions close by includes the Tenement Museum, Katz's Deli, and many other great places... More

I came in via the subway from JFK and walked down Chyrstie Street towards the bridge. My boyfriend who had already arrived, told me if I got the Popeye's Chicken on the corner, I had gone too far. Yep, I passed the hotel and make it to the Popeye's Chicken. I went back and had to look very close to... More

I was quite happy with my stay in that hotel. It is 5 minutes from Soho so very good for Soho lovers. The hotel was clean and quite, a good night sleep. The breakfast section is very small, but you could take your food to the room witch i preferred. The only problem is that China Town is not the cleanest... More

My wife and I recently stayed 5 nights at the Comfort Inn Manhattan Bridge. My first impression of the lobby and desk was positive. Easy check in...friendly service. Our safe...which by the way accommodated my wife's huge laptop...would not open. I went downstairs immediately and the man at the desk came back up with me and fixed the problem. I... More

We arrived at the hotel for out 3 night stay by taxi before 11:00 am and our room was not ready. Check in time isn't until 4:00 pm. But the hotel staff gladly offered to hold our luggage for us while we wondered around the area. Later after completing check in and finding our room (1004) we were very disappointed.... More

Staying in Chinatown

Neighborhood Profile
Chinatown
Bursting with an amazing array of sights, sounds, and smells on every block, a visit to Chinatown feels like entering a different world. It’s a colorful spectacle that gets even more crowded on weekends, when families stream in to enjoy huge dim sum feasts and to stock up at the markets on Mott Street. To take a break from the buzz, grab something sweet from one of the many bakeries in the area and head to Columbus Park, where many Chinatown residents exercise, play games, and chat the day away.
