We enjoyed our stay in the hotel though the rooms are not that special and the breakfast is quite modest. The location was really handy if you enjoy being around Bowery and Soho. The locals were a little bit surprised that we stay in Chinatown, I don't know why but the charms of the Chinatown was pretty exotic too. For... More

I love your review. I will need to do more meditative exercises. It is a great area for that. I love the fruit markets too. Great fruit (and unique) at great prices. Compared to the prices that you can pay in Manhattan this hotel was really good value. The staff were friendly it was clean even had the bonus of breakfast - cereal, toast &muffins a few cooked items and a waffle maker, but enough to get you going in a morning. The location is also good. You're in China town and... More

This hotel was perfect for our recent five night stay in NYC. It is only two blocks from the nearest subway station. The proximity to Little Italy and China Town was great, especially when your looking for dinner or dessert at night. The complimentary continental breakfast was one of the best that I have experienced. The hotel had a very... More

We appreciate you selecting our hotel for your NYC visit. Thank you for your feedback on TripAdvisor so we can celebrate what we do well and improve where we can. This neighborhood is definately one of the best for amazing food - especially desserts. The carpets are cleaned quarterly or as needed. They are sadly worn out and we are... More

A decent place to stay in NYC with comfortable beds and reasonable prices. Continental breakfast was included and it seemed everyone took advantage of it the morning we were there. The room are NYC size small, but if you are out and about, you will only be sleeping there. Parking is next door, but pricey, but I dont trust leaving... More

Check-in was really quick. We had a double queen room for 3 adults. It was very small with not much space for luggage etc. The beds were very comfy and changed regularly. The bathroom was very clean with complimentary shower gel etc. the overall decor was very tired. Breakfast was good with a lot of choice. Reception staff were very... More

This place was great! We booked it because the price was reasonable and I'm glad we did. It's in Chinatown, maybe not the most scenic, but interesting nonetheless. It's two blocks from a subway station, so it's pretty easy to get where you need to go. We were able to walk to Battery Park from the hotel in about 25... More

A nice, not too expensive hotel located in Chinatown. Very close to Grand St subway and within walking distance to Canal and Bowery stations. Lots of atmosphere in the neighbourhood, with local chinese stores, restaurants and the park across the street where Chinese people did chi gong in the mornings. Our room was small but clean and the only thing... More

Hotel first impression wasn't good from outside, surrounding area was a let down, graffiti, litter, lads on corners. But once inside the hotel was fresh lookin. Bedroom was of good size, though the look out of the windows was not a good view run down blocks of apartments. But room was clean bathroom had plenty of room with a walk... More

This hotel is centrally located on the east edge of Chinatown, close to Grand St subway station and within walking distance of Bowery and Canal St. stations. These subways gives you quick access to most of New York City. We always felt safe in the area. Attractions close by includes the Tenement Museum, Katz's Deli, and many other great places... More

Staying in Chinatown

Neighborhood Profile
Chinatown
Bursting with an amazing array of sights, sounds, and smells on every block, a visit to Chinatown feels like entering a different world. It’s a colorful spectacle that gets even more crowded on weekends, when families stream in to enjoy huge dim sum feasts and to stock up at the markets on Mott Street. To take a break from the buzz, grab something sweet from one of the many bakeries in the area and head to Columbus Park, where many Chinatown residents exercise, play games, and chat the day away.
