I find that when I am in New York that I tend to find myself drawn to the Lower Neighborhoods of the city. I do not really like Time Square and this is where the hotel prices are higher. Scoured the internet for room that was both affordable and in Lower Manhattan. I found that the Comfort Inn Manhattan fit... More

I stayed there for three nights and four days and it was a very clean and beautiful hotel. We come off of the train and it was not check in time yet but we got to leave our luggage there until check-in which was great. The room was very clean and spacious for being in the city. The bathroom is... More

Yes it is well located if you are looking to be near Chinatown and Little Italy and yes the beds are comfy and staff seem nice enough but our room was disgusting! Mold smell the whole time and after a while we realized it was coming from the AC system, the curtain above it and the bathroom too. Totally disgusting... More

I stayed at the comfort inn at Manhattan bridge. Room was small but unusual and I really liked it. Room was on two floors, bottom floor was the bedroom and toilet and upstairs was a seating area and desk. I really enjoyed my time. Lots of Chinese restaurants locally but short walk from my other types of restaurants.

We flown in early in the morning, the front desk Paul was kind enough to let us have our breakfast and kept our luggages. He called us around 12 noon to check in because we booked for double beds. He was also very helpful with the direction and moving about Chinatown. Room is tiny but clean. Room 311 is double... More

Before I found the Hotel Mulberry I stayed at the Comfort Inn Manhattan Bridge. I used to live in the Lower East Side and I've walked around this area a lot and enjoy it's unpretentious side of NYC. The hotel does the job fairly well. It's not fancy but then again it's not expensive either. It is loud as others... More

The room was clean, with a spacious and clean bathroom. Breakfast is in a small area downstairs, it is more practical to take your breakfast to your room. Bummer was that my room was separated by a thin door to the next room. First I had a loud Italian family next to me, later an older couple who were pretty... More

The Comfort Inn Manhattan Bridge is a great option in Chinatown. As a woman alone, I felt safe. My room was large, clean and relatively quiet. Outside is the hustle and bustle of Chinatown with interesting sights and great food. It was so convenient that I was able to walk to the Empire State Building, museums and even my brother's... We booked this Comfort Inn on our return trip to NYC for another 2 nights was our best choice, from start to finish, the services were great, front desk was very helpful, on telling us where to go eat, shop and etc.... breakfast crews were fast servicing. Room cleaning staffs had done a good job. Rooms were clean, beds are... More

Staying in Chinatown

Neighborhood Profile
Chinatown
Bursting with an amazing array of sights, sounds, and smells on every block, a visit to Chinatown feels like entering a different world. It’s a colorful spectacle that gets even more crowded on weekends, when families stream in to enjoy huge dim sum feasts and to stock up at the markets on Mott Street. To take a break from the buzz, grab something sweet from one of the many bakeries in the area and head to Columbus Park, where many Chinatown residents exercise, play games, and chat the day away.
