Just came home from New York. I was staying at New York Palace Hotel for three nights. What a beutiful hotel. Interior and furniture are amazing, but. Service; when checking in and every time when I went to reception the personel said hello, but did not look at me. In my opinion one should look at the person to whom... More

The New York Palace totally exceeded my expectations. From the moment my daughter and I walked through the doors we were met by smiling and helpful staff. We were checked in by Guest Service Agent, Bitan Haider who was genuinely friendly and welcoming and who recognising that we were a little weary couldn't do enough for us. I have stayed... More

A really good choice for those wanting to stay in mid-town but away from the noise of Central Park and 5th Avenue. Rooms are very large by New York standard and extremely quiet which was a nice suprise. Very comfortable beds, well furnished with a great bathroom. I didn't eat there but room-service breakfast was very nice.

This review is based comparing against 2 prior visits before the renovation was completed during which we really enjoyed both our stays. The first 2 times we visited everyone from the doorman to the receptionist were polite and professional. When we arrived the door man moved our bags to the curb and that was it, he was more interested in... More

Just got back from 6 day trip to the Palace with my 13 yr old son. We have been to NYC before but stayed in a different hotel previously. This year we went to the Palace to 'push the boat out' and it was well worth the money! The location is great. The view of St Patricks was obscured by... More

I was met curbside by Luis the Doorman. He gave me a brief tour of the lobby and history of the hotel. I was quickly checked in and upgraded to a wonderful room with a straight on view of St. Patrick's Cathedral by Betain (sp). I was here celebrating a "friendiversary" with my BFF. The location is one block off... More

As I lay sleepless in another hotel, I'm reminded of the great stays I've had at the Palace over the years, and I wonder why I didn't simply book here again. It's not trendy, it's just plain reliable and it's priced well. I spent $350+ to sleep on a terrible bed a few block away at a hotel that's got... More

The premier skyline upgrade is well worth it! Fabulous views over St. Patricks Cathedral and a very spacious, quiet room with great black out curtains. Location is excellent, close to Grand Central station, all the Stores, Restaurants,Theatres and Parks. Hotel entrance has a sunny outside cafe on Madison Ave. and windows in the room open for fresh air. Bars and... More

I have been to many countries and hotels, by far this was the best hotel I have stayed in. The bed was very comfortable and I had the best sleep ever. The room was very clean and the furniture was of top quality. The best thing was their bed and pillows, the most comfortable bed I have slept in. New... More
