This hotel is the perfect nyc hotel. We spent the weekend here and could not have had a better stay. The location is ideal, hotel is spectacular, picture perfect views, but the most important thing is the incredible staff. Carolyn at concierge set up our entire weekend and helped us with our million tourist questions. She arranged us in the... More

What a wonderful hotel. Perfect location lovely rooms and the staff is amazing. The only downside is that there's no restaurant in the hotel ... But room service was fantastic. One of my favorite places for midtown. I'd recommend it any time you are in New York.

An odd mix of dated and modern styles (modern where they can do so cheaply and dated on expensive things like showers etc.). But still a pretty darn good "grand old dame" of a hotel with a couple great somewhat chic hotel bars. But, they whack you for wifi at $16 a day, parking is absurd and service fee is... More

We recently held a business conference at the NY Palace Hotel, the entire staff was by far the best we have ever worked with on these types of events. They were vere throuough and caring as some of our attendees experienced travel delays/cancellations due to weather. I would recommend this property to anyone interested in hosting a First Rate Event.

What a great experience yet again! As a frequent traveler to NYC, I have researched and visited all of the best hotels and have yet to find a parallel for the New York Palace (we usually stay in the Towers section). It has become my home away from home. It is perfectly situated...just minutes from Central Park, Times Square and... More

My wife and I travel to New York multiple times a year for Broadway binges. We will typically see 7 to 10 shows in 5 to 8 nights. In all the years we've been traveling the world I have never left a review for any hotel. This most recent visit to New York in the newly renovated Palace compelled me... More

We stayed here for five nights on January 2015.... We got a room with a view the St. Patrick's Cathedral. People from the hotel were super nice and helpful (sometimes in New York it´s hard to find) the rooms are spacious (for NY City), newly decorated, clean, but not trendy at all. the told me the Gym is pretty nice,... On a recent trip for my birthday we went to our favorite hotel in the world. Our home away from home it is called the Palace because guests are treated like royalty. The new renovations are state of the art and beautiful. I just recommended this hotel to a group of ladies having a birthday b Celebration and they had... More

I stayed here for a long weekend with my Mum, Sister and Aunt. STAFF: All very friendly and helpful. We asked for a fridge in the room, to keep bottles of water rather than risking getting charged from the mini bar and it was in our room within 10mins (and was a huge fridge, we expected a mini fridge!). My... More

After wanting to stay at the Waldorf, which is within 100 yards, I was booked at the New York Palace Hotel. The room was very nice, more roomy than same at Waldorf. All the staff was very nice and helpful and it was nice overall experience.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
