My husband and I recently spent a weekend at the Palace and had a Towers room. Service was outstanding at every point in our stay from check in to check out. There is no hotel in New York City as elegantly beautiful and with more attention to detail. At the same time it is a very comfortable hotel with none... More

I arrived in town early and my room was ready for me to check in. As usual everything was immaculate. It was large enough and had a nice space for entertaining. My mini-bar was well stocked. Room service provided delicious food in a timely manner. The staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. All in all a great visit.

I just got back from my trip to NYC (like, JUST got back) and wanted to make sure to review the Palace as soon as possible! The staff there are incredibly courteous and helpful right from the start. I got assigned to my room (2318) and pleasantly found out it was right next to the elevator (but I couldn't hear... More

Strategically located at Madison and 50th Street, the Palace embodies old world luxury in the heart of the city. Rooms are impeccable, service oriented towards attention to detail. A must when you stay in NYC

We have stayed in the Tower at The New York Palace twice now. The first time was during Hurricane Sandy. We had such a great experience then we had to come back. We stayed at a few other hotels in NYC in between but they just do not stack up to the suites or the experience here! The staff is... More

Great location, one block from Rockerfeller center and just a few blocks to Times Square. The staff is very friendly. They went out of their way to make you feel welcome each day as you come and go. There was never a wait to get a cab/car out front of the hotel. Good restaurants and shopping very very close by.... More

We were absolutely blown away by this stunning hotel. The rooms were ideal for 4 of us sharing and the facilities were excellent. Only complaints are that our room bill was completely wrong on check out but was resolved quickly by very pleasant staff, upon leaving the hotel the door man helped us with our bags, hovered around for a... What an amazing hotel, elegant, beautiful and charming. The rooms were amazingly spacious and very warm. I was getting engaged so the staff were very helpful in organising flowers to be delivered. I stayed over New Year, Xmas tree was HUGE!

Stayed here three nights with teenagers when I stumbled upon a really favorable rate. Sure, it's seen better days with a perhaps more posh crowd. The hall carpets and bathrooms could use a little updating - walking into the public areas felt a bit 80s-90s. But, honestly, it's tough to complain (maybe if I'd paid rack rate I would find... Stayed for five nights on a business trip. The hotel is exactly what you would expect. Centrally located, with exceptional customer service. The wifi (always important on a business trip) was excellent and worked perfectly. The gym facility was very good. I also used the Spa and had a very good massage. The room was very comfortable, with a good... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
