Found this place through trip advisor. Booked in for 5 nights double room shared bathroom. Hotel is very cute and quaint. Rooms and bathrooms were clean. Staff were all helpful and friendly. Location was great. And most of all the price was right. Rooms are a little small but my partner and I didn't have any issues with space. And... More

We were greeted by friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is old fashioned but with a lot of character. Our room had a private bathroom, coffee maker, safe, Tv and I was able to borrow an iron and board which was brought to my room on request. Although the room was small it was perfectly adequate for our needs and... More

This is a follow up to my March 2013 review. I have been fortunate to visit Hotel 31 twice this year... in August and in October... Both very pleasant experiences! I must have been on the east side of the building because the morning sun came beaming into my room at 7:00... a wonderful way to start the day.

Just stayed at the Hotel 31 for 3 nights. Like so many previous reviews, you can't beat it for the price. Within walking distance to many Midtown attractions, restaurants and public transportation. Keep in mind this is a Eurostyle boutique hotel similar to those found in London and Paris. It also has a Eurostyle lift, maximum 3 people with one... More

This is our second time that we stayed at Hotel31. The room is very small but it doesn't matter because the only thing you do at the hotel is sleeping and taking a shower. On the room you have a mirror and sink. The minus is the bed, they are to hard, but you will survive :) The staff on... More

I have to concur with others that this Hotel presents great value for the money spent. Of course you can nit pick anywhere but I had the best night sleep even better than my very quiet condo.Maybe I was lucky with neighbors, in general it was a very quiet stay, perfect for recharging your body and get ready for adventures... A very good and clean hotel room. The usual size for NYC, the room was cleaned every day too. Located close to the subway and the Empire State Building, with many delicious delis and restaurants to choose from. We can recommend Bread and Butter or Penelope. You can walk up to Times Square in about 30/40 mins with a gentle... More

An average hotel that looks a little old, with an old style little lift which is hard to get bags in/out off. The room was small but not too bad with a mirror and sink. Shared bathroom wasn't an issue for us, only once was it in use when we needed it but another was close by on the same... More
