We were staying in NYC one night, post-cruise. I found the Hotel Indigo through price line. What a find. Excellent, all around. We spent a very wet night in NYC, but our room was dry, warm and good sized, by NYC standards, with a large bathroom with large shower and wonderful bed and linens. The street is basically the flower... More

An easy walk from Penn Station if you're arriving by train, Hotel Indigo is also close to Chelsea art galleries, the Flatiron District and Greeley Park, and subways (1/2/3 on 7th Ave or short walk to N/R on Broadway) to all of NYC. The block itself is not very interesting, and pretty dead at night, though. Welcoming lobby area with... More

We stayed here for 5 nights and had to leave just prior to Hurricane Irene hitting NYC. We highly recommend this great hotel in Chelsea. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable and it was very quiet. A fantastic location close to everything and it was great to see the fresh flowers every morning.

Good little hotel that is close enough to walk to Times Square (~15 mins?) but you don't have to pay Times Square prices. There is also a subway at the end of the street, train & interstate bus terminals within walking distance too. The room is a good size for New York, both my wife and I could work in... More

Will definately stay here again when in NYC.Just a stroll from Penn Station and we did... More

I've stayed at Hotel Indigo twice, both in 2010. I will return again and again. The staff is courteous, cheerful and not cloyingly insipid as many other hotels often have. The decor is a warm, modern, feng shui informed - the small room is awash in light despite it facing the next hotel. The bathroom is enormous and clean. Try... More

Late on Friday, August 26 we found out we were subject to a mandatory evacuation in lower Manhattan because of Hurricane Irene. Luckily for us, on the recommendation of a friend, we were able to get one of the last available rooms at the Hotel Indigo in Chelsea. Our family, including our cat, was welcomed the next day as we... More

Our third stay at the Indigo hotel. The rooms are nice and modern, have free WIFI and are pretty spacious for New York standard. Location very good. Close to public transport, shops, restaurants or whatever you are looking for. Roof top bar (happy hour not during weekend, although mentioned daily between 5 and 7 pm) with lovely views. Best of...
