My sister and I were offered a very good price (for NYC), including a very good breakfast (difficult to find in NYC hotels) for a weekend. The room was vert clean, with nice looking laminate flooring rather than carpet, and comfortable beds. A distinct "pro" was the lighting in the bathroom along with provision of a magnifying mirror that made... More

What a gem of a place. Easy to find from the Subway, short walking distance from Penn Station, very clean rooms, safe place, good breakfast, and very friendly staff. Located in a semi residential area with most business in the flower trade. We really enjoyed our stay. I will ask for a room at the back due to the street... More

Stayed a few Hotel indigos, and most of them are like this one, repurposed from an older property/owner. Usually Indigos are a lot more open, airy and have comfortable lobbies and public spaces. Space is at an optimum in Manhattan, so I'm not surprised this was a little more closed off than I would've preferred. That being said, my room... More

Great location for our group. Nice decor but beds are not very comfortable. Bathroom nice--shower only. Free continental breakfast for two, but we paid $3 extra for a full American breakfast that was delicious with good service from waitstaff.

Hotel is modern themed, very clean, and has a great staff. Rooftop bar closes early. Road noise wasn not as bad as everyone comment on. Train station is only a couple of steps away. Plenty of parking garages as well.

I am currently at the Indigo , having booked it off Trip Advisor as it was just around the corner from a Holiday Inn I had stayed at last year. The reviews had been very good but on arrival , the lobby says old and tired and needs a refurb ....thankfully everything from there on was extremely positive. Quiet rooms... More

Location: easy access to subway 1 line. Close to Madison Square and Broadway(can walk). Staffs: Professional and friendly. This hotel is IHG, boutique hotel. When I checked in, only 2nd and 4th floor rooms are left, so I chose 4th. If I choose 2nd floor, it might be loud because it is bust street at midnight. Roof terrace Bar is... More

I travel a lot for business reasons and usually the decision maker factor is the location. It is close to Times Square, Empire State building, Chelsea area, etc. All of these by walking distance. The hotel staff is rigid but trying to be welcoming (props to that!), rooms are quite small, but considering NYC standards, they are pretty decent. Equipment... More

Thank you for writing a review. We certainly take all reviews seriously and have spoken to the staff about being more open and friendly. We are due for a hotel renovation later on in 2016, and I sure hope you'll allow us a chance to make a different impression. Should you choose to grant us the opportunity to do so,... More

Staying in Chelsea

Neighborhood Profile
Chelsea
Home to hundreds of art galleries, beautiful brownstones, and one of New York’s newest and most popular attractions, Chelsea is one of the city’s jewels when it comes to neighborhood life. The contemporary art scene is an integral part of the neighborhood’s identity, with gallery openings almost every night of the week and countless exhibits to explore. As a longtime hub of gay culture in New York City, it’s also a diverse district with a vibrant nightlife scene. The opening of the High Line, an abandoned elevated train track transformed into a world-class pedestrian park, gave this neighborhood new life as a tourist destination. The High Line provides visitors with a tranquil, elevated space with incomparable views, providing an unparalleled way to experience the city.
