My family stayed here January 2015 and I was very disappointed. The linens made me itch so much I could not sleep. I have never had this problem before at the many hotels we have stayed in. I don't know what they use on their linens but it must have been harsh. The hotel is extremely small and narrow and... More

Stayed here 2 nights on 12/27 and 12/28 for some post-Christmas fun. Paid $139 per nite. "uptown" midtown or Times sq would have paid close to $300 per night. $2.75 subway rides, via the 2 or 3 train tool all of 20 mins from penn station, 23 mins to times sq, 27 mins to central park via the 6 train..Great... This hotel is small and a little old but provides a quit place to stay away from the hustle and bustle of Times Square. The hotel offers "free" breakfast but in reality it is a $20/room voucher. The good thing is the restaurant offers a full breakfast menu. The gym/fitness area is small and only has the basic machines. The... More

Have stayed many times in midtown but this was our first downtown hotel experience. It was a great value for the $134/night deal that we received through travelzoo. The room was extremely clean and a bit bigger than the typical NYC shoebox. Front desk staff were very friendly. Excellent location to financial district and the 911 Memorial & Museum. Close... Good hotel with easy access to subway, restaurants, breakfast spots, and tour-sites. Front desk staff were all quite friendly and helpful. Rooms were small but clean, comfy, and quiet.Take a quick walk to the Brooklyn Bridge and walk over into Brooklyn. Worth an afternoon if you have the time. We come to NYC every year at this time and this... More

Checked our bags in early due to room not ready only to find that someone rummaged through bags and stole 2 rings. Baggage was left zipperred and latched closed only to be brought back up to us unzipped. Reported right away and was told they reviewed tapes but they cannot see anything from elevators when THEY move it from place... More

I was warmly greeted with a friendly staff as soon as I entered this hotel. My room was a good: the bed was extremely comfortable and I had a quiet night's sleep each night of my stay. There are great restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. I definitely plan to stay here again.

Our first time staying overnight in New York and we could not have chosen a better place. The staff was amazing and very helpful. The room was small but it had everything we needed for a one night stay. Plus the view from our window on the 18th floor was amazing! We could see the Freedom Tower! Very close to... More

The hotel earns its ratings for two reasons. One is the location. I had not previously stayed in the Financial District or even visited there on my many visits to New York. But if you want to explore the area this is a terrific location. It is just a minute or two walk to Wall St. and Broad the location... More
