This hostel has bed bugs which was an extremely expensive mistake for us.

Stayed 2 nights around new years 2 years ago and then in may last year. Considering we booked relatively late (close to new years), I was surprised that we could get affordable accommodation around new years eve. I was satisfied with the 6 bed dorms, they were a little cramped, but as expected for price, and it wasn't unbearable. The... More

Well first of all, don't bring guests back to this hostel - if only to straighten their hair haha! The manager nearly beat down our bedroom door at 2 in the morning to throw our friends out, he then was after a $20 fee to have overnight guests. It was all rather terrifying but quite hilarious too! The receptionists are... More

Pros: cheap & location (like other many others Hostels there). STAY HERE ONLY FOR EMERGENCIES AND NEVER PAY MORE THAN ONE NIGHT, THERE IS NOT REIMBURSE. Cons: awful tiny uncomfortable bed, tiny locker, very noisy you can hear every step around, not payment with cards only cash, very small bathroom just for one person at the time, just to beds... This hostel is located on the Upper West Side on Manhattan, located just 100 meters from the 103. st metro station, so the location is very good. The rooms and showers are OK, and there is free wi-fi internett.

14 July 2010 we went for 7 days to the big apple. We were with 3 students. 2 of 18 years and 1 of 19. We were looking for a cheap hotel/hostel. This one was one of the cheapest and we wanted a private room. After we mailed the hostel if we could check in at the age of 18,... More

You guys are awesome. Your service was absolutely brilliant. Of the hostels we stayed in in the States over the last month, yours was absolutely the best. The room was great. The hostel was spotless. The staff all helpful, (despite us being such klutzes - I changed the booking twice, my luggage got lost at the airport and you guys... More

This hostel is a block from central park and less than a block to the subway. Parking was easy to find even in new years eve. Bathrooms are clean and the shower is nice and warm. It also had the cheapest prices around the city.

The hostel was right next to Central Park (uptown Central Park West) so it was in a reasonably good location. The rooms were on the small side - but the sheets and towels were changed daily and the heating was really good. Staff were reasonably helpful. The WiFi only works in the basement.
