Me, my girlfriend and my brother went to NYC for 2 weeks. We saw all the positive reviews on TripAdvisor for Bed & Coffee and we booked 6 months in advance.... and what a great choice! Anne welcomed us when we arrived, showed everything we needed to know and directed us to the beautiful Black& White room. I read in... more

We stayed in the observatory room for 5 nights in May and had a brilliant time.(Thank you Anne, Harrison , Mango and Blanquita - great to meet you all) Our room was very clean, looked out onto the street and had soundproof windows. It was nice to have use of a full kitchen and sharing the bathroom was never a... more

We will definitely go back and highly recommend it for others! We had the pleasure of working with Harrison. Anne was out of town during our visit. My daughter and I did a quick visit but, loved every minute of it! We stayed in the Zen room and recommend it. It was quiet and the bed was comforable. It was... more

My husband and I took a trip to NY from the Boston area. Starting from the time that we made our booking and all throughout our stay the owner, Anne, was friendly, helpful, and patient with our many questions. She made us feel right at home and was so accommodating! EVBC even has a dog named, Mango, who was rescued... more

We spent 5 nights in the Treehouse room and really enjoyed our stay at EVB&C. The advice and help provided personally by Anne and Harrison, and also in their various guides available for all to use, was brilliant. It was great having local recommendations especially from fellow foodies! There was rarely a wait for shared bathrooms and the place is... more

Very 'New York' atmosphere at this extremely welcoming and cozy B without B. Funky living room, yet classical, warm and well appointed rooms. Sharing a bathroom never was a problem. Unlimited free internet acces was very convenient. Only drawback : about 10 minutes walk to the nearest subwaystation. But then again : a walk through this very lively neighbourhood was... more

I have to say it was like staying with friends or relatives. I have never felt so welcome in one place. It was also my first time in the states, having spent the first two nights at a hotel in New Jersey. East Village Bed & Coffee gives you a taste of real New York. Not the tourist hot spots... more

We stayed in the empty nest for 4 nights and we could'nt have found anywhere better in new york. The room was plenty big enough for 2, lovely and warm and close to the kitchen/lounge and bathroom. Anne and Harrison were both friendly, really welcoming and helpful. Mango and Blanquita are the most loveliest dogs ever! we spent many a... more

We stayed for just under a week and it was perfect. The room was a good size and the amenities were so more than helpful. Not only did we access to a kitchen (always handy when you want a midnight glass of water) but we had access to the internet and a TV (jet lag so watching it at about... more

I couldn't have found a better hotel and I loved staying there. The rooms are beautiful and clean, the bathrooms spacious and comfortable. I didn't use any of the entertainment possibilities, but with there are plenty. I particularly enjoyed the open wifi and the available macbooks in every common room.. Also, my hosts Harrisson and Anne are wonderful people; helpful... more
