Even though Manhattan is only a 30 minute drive for us, we had 2 rock shows in a row at MSG and decided to stay nearby, since it was also Christmas time. We're very budget conscious with our hotels because we'd rather spend our money on the fun. The hotel room and bedding were clean and comfortable. Sure, some of... More

This has to be the absolute worst hotel I have ever stayed in. It should actually be shut down. The room was filthy, the sheets hadn't been changed, the whole place was covered in duck tape to try and "fix" things, the towels were threadbare, it was utterly disgusting. I know people are tempted by the location, but please, do... More

The saving grace of this place is its location and so you can escape easily to all the fun of Manhattan. Unfortunately, its dirty...the sheets are stained, the walls haven't been cleaned andvthere is dust everywhere. Its also freezing cold therebis a space heater in the room which doesn't work and it gets freezing at night. Don't try and keep... More

Simply put: If your looking for a great location with reasonable price certainly consider this hotel. If your expecting something fancy look elsewhere. My wife and I visited this hotel during a shopping trip and it was the best value for our dollars. The bed was clean and the staff was very helpful. Since the hotel is so close to... More

We went to NYC for my husband's birthday; one night. We arrived in NYC at noon and were able to leave our bags while we explored the city, as check in is after 3pm. We checked in at 3:30 and our room was not ready, so they upgraded us to a "suite". Two full size beds and a bunk bed.... More

My wife and I took an impromptu overnight trip to NYC. Did some searching on TA and found this hotel where we wanted to stay. We found the room very nice, the bed very comfortable and the staff very friendly. I upgraded my room (you had the option) for 15 dollars and got a top floor room with a very... More

Finding all the comfort in the middle of Manhattan is hard. This place results a very good option if you want to be close to Broadway / Times square, as well as other cool sites. Very close also to transfers to airports. The staff was very helpful and friendly. For sure it will be an option when I come back... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
