I stayed here for one night last year- and the online price vs. the price in person was 100$ different so I was immediately not happy about that. The location was the greatest thing about this hotel - it's near Times Square. The room was small- and the bathroom had not a new roll of tissue added upon arrival. The... More

My partner and I stayed here for 7 nights in June. First impressions of the hotel where a little disappointing. It is literally between two shops with a tiny entrance and sign, without much of lobby or waiting area. And likewise our room was small, made worse by two large suitcases. However, the room was clean, dust/mould free and the... More

We stayed here for 4 nights during May, and while it is in a very convenient location the hotel itself leaves a lot to be desired. The twin share room looked like a prison cell, the beds and pillows were terrible. The bath under the shower was filthy (however the water pressure was excellent). There was no natural light and... We LOVEd our stay at the Manhattan Broadway Hotel. The staff was great and the rooms were clean and well appointed. Perfectly located...it was kinda dicy part of town but I never felt in any way threatened in any way and we were running in and out of the hotel at all hours. Wonderful time great stay and we will... The staff at the Manhattan Broadway hotel were very friendly and courteous. The hotel is in some what of a dicy part of town but I never felt threatened at all. There are great restaurants in the area and it's only a short walk to Times Square. There are Citibikes right out front of the hotel but the racks are... More

We booked this hotel because they claimed to be a budget hotel. Location was at 273 W. 38th St., Manhattan, N.Y. The were listed on Hotels.com. The picture on the website looked like a large hotel. Two days before we left for NY we checked some comments on line and found out they had reported "bedbugs" at this location. We... More

Tiny room. Giant king bed with clean sheets and dirty box spring. Shower rusted and window opens to a 1 meter wide alley way. Maid never came to clean. Front desk very friendly but charge you to leave your bags after checkout while shirking any responsibility. Overall a clean-ish budget option with an incredibly central location.

Stayed at this hotel for 8 days and I made a great choice in terms of location. Walking distance to Times Square and since almost all my nights were scheduled for watching Broadway plays, the place is just perfect. Aside from this, the hotel is strategically located and very near the port authority, the metro Penn station, Madison Square Garden,... More

Firstly the location is excellent. A few minutes walk to main attractions. The room is very compact but you wont be spending much of your time there. If you need a hair dryer or kettle you need to ask at the front desk as its it not in the room. So first come first get it. The male staff and... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
