I recently stayed in this hotel, 4 nights, 5 days! It is an older hotel and we had 1 plumbing issue while we were there but a call to the front desk and someone was there right away, less than 2 minutes, they fixed the problem and cleaned the restroom. There were 5 of us staying in a sort of... More

I arrived in New York at 21:30 with no accommodation booked and found this pretty quickly after leaving Penn Street Station. The guy on the front desk, think it was Jonathan, was what really sold it to me but everything past that went downhill EXTREMELY FAST! The room I was allocated wasn't cleaned so he put me in another. The... More

It was hard to find the hotel as the entry point was unlike other hotels, it was just a simple glass door hidden away between stores. As soon as you walk in thru the front door it was surprisingly disappointing, it looked cheap and horrible. We were in a group of three with a luggage each and we just took... More

The location is what really had me, being from New York City, I know how expensive hotels can be, but I wasn't looking for anything fancy and upscale, just a place to shack up with some friends for a few days. A hotel at these rates in the middle of Times Square is SO hard to find & I found... More

The location of this hotel is amazing. In walking distance to Times Square and Empire State Building. The staff are very friendly and will answer any questions you have and very helpful. However that is the only thing good about this hotel. The rooms were absolutely filthy. Stains on the bed sheets, stains on the towels and hair balls on... More

This hotel was in a great spot for price close proximity to everything! However the bedding was filthy and the bathroom facilities were terrible. I would recommend spending more money to ensure a more enjoyable stay!

Even though Manhattan is only a 30 minute drive for us, we had 2 rock shows in a row at MSG and decided to stay nearby, since it was also Christmas time. We're very budget conscious with our hotels because we'd rather spend our money on the fun. The hotel room and bedding were clean and comfortable. Sure, some of... More

This has to be the absolute worst hotel I have ever stayed in. It should actually be shut down. The room was filthy, the sheets hadn't been changed, the whole place was covered in duck tape to try and "fix" things, the towels were threadbare, it was utterly disgusting. I know people are tempted by the location, but please, do... More

The saving grace of this place is its location and so you can escape easily to all the fun of Manhattan. Unfortunately, its dirty...the sheets are stained, the walls haven't been cleaned andvthere is dust everywhere. Its also freezing cold therebis a space heater in the room which doesn't work and it gets freezing at night. Don't try and keep... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
