This hotel is located in a real good position to do all the main attractions. The compromise is the rooms, I just expecting a bit more considering the location etc. But I put things into perspective and thought about the reasonable price that I paid so I think all in all it is fair to say the hotel is average.... Clean, amazingly comfortable beds and staff were very kind and attentive. Great stay - would return. Location was absolutely brilliant - Empire State building is 5 mins away, as is Macys - walked everywhere.

By far one of the best hotels iv staid in! Great great value for money, you get a lovely big room with a nice big TV coffee making facilities and you get a fridge stocked with water and coca cola which is all free! How many hotels do that for there guests with charging about 10 times the amount you... More

Another stay at the New Yorker for Conference/Continuing Education at the Javits. So convenient to the subway, buses and sightseeing. The staff was great and our room was clean and pleasant. We checked in at dinner time and went right to the newly-redecorated restaurant for a relaxing meal with a helpful wait staff. After a day of sightseeing, we asked... More

Arrived at hotel around 9pm and was advised that we had been upgraded to room on Executive Floor. Room very well appointed bed very comfortable, plenty of storage space. Nespresso machine was very welcome as was the complimentary bottles of water left each day. Only criticism would be the hot water in the bathroom sink only came out at a... More

We arrived at Newark in the snow and as this was our first visit to NYC we decided to get a cab from the airport for ease. After an hour in the cab driving down 8th avenue we realised this was a bit of a mistake - Penn Station really is as close to the hotel as people say in... More

We stayed 5 days in a double room. We arrived at a very busy time. When we arrived about 30+ people were either checking in/out at same time. The line/queue to check in was clearly marked. The front desk staff was busy, but it would have been nice to be acknowleged. I was at front of line for 8 minutes... More

Arrived at Penn Station and the impressive towering hotel was about 1 minutes walk away. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. We had arrived as a family myself, my wife and our two sons both in their 30's. Two double rooms had been booked in error. The hotel staff noticed this and relocated our sons to a suite with... Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
