We stayed four times in this hotel, a total of 28 days. We booked a view room with two double beds. Our room was large, had a nice view, and a walk-in closet which was very handy. Hotel is at a walking distance to Times Square. Breakfasts at Tick Tock Diner were great. Hotel staff were friendly. However, there is... More

The rooms are old and small. We paid extra for a view and had an alley way to look at. The location was great though. Walking distance to all major areas. Time Square and Broadway. The lady at the tour counter was very knowledgable,

The food and service at tic Toc was great. The room was so small and hard to move in. The shower was hot, then cold, etc. to I was shocked with the constant temperature change. I didn't want to burn myself. Joan and Don

We are a family of five and we had a suite on the eighth floor. There was enough room for the five of us and we were very happy with the room, especially the wardrobe. Thick, nice towels and very good cleaning.

We stayed two nights - it was a bachelorette weekend. Rooms were clean and comfortable- able to get corner rooms since we had a large party and needed two rooms. We got a lot of towels and staff was very nice.

We stayed here for a week for the Governor's Ball Music Festival and it was great. We got to the hotel in the morning (I would say 10-11am) and were able to check in, which was great because we could leave our bags and backpacks in the room. Our room had a view towards the Empire State which was beautiful... More

I only stayed one night at New Yorker Hotel and was impressed at how pristine the hotel is. The staff at check in was very great and the staff around the hotel elsewhere were great as well. The room was really really clean - nothing really special but I liked that about it. The price was really good for one... More

The location is fantastic, your in the centre of New York City! Tube station next door. The airline lost our luggage the entire stay if our holiday the hotel staff did all they could to help on the last day. A big thank you! Room and interior are a little dated but worth the stay given the location and friendly... More

This hotel was a brilliant find, located centrally in Manhattan a stones throw from Madison square garden, its so close to the empire state and 5th avenue. The hotel is classic 1930s style, clean, comfortable retro classy. The rooms are very comfortable, and not fussy. Beds are 4ft doubles so be warned if you are tall, or need space, you... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
