What a fantastic hotel. I have read the previous comments about this hotel. Some good, some bad. First time visitor to New York, this hotel is the best you could wish for. If you want to be pampered and have the staff beg and curtsy too yourselves. Pay the extra couple of hundred dollars a night for that privilege on Park... More

This hotel met all of our needs. The location is excellent - Close to Times Square, the Empire State Building, Macy's, etc. The subway station is at the end of the block. The free breakfast in the morning is all that one needs. Our room was clean and had two double beds. We were at the back of the hotel,... More

Fantastic location - went to a game at Madison Square Garden and stayed here using the HotelTonight app for $156/night. Great value for times square. Room was great - had a wicked view of the Empire state building. Hotel had great old features - the lobby is cool, check out the stairs that lead down to the bathroom. Beside the... More

The hotel's name has recently been changed to: Hotel 35. I'm staying there now. I thought it would be better if I wrote my review when I still remember all the details. A nice hotel with a great location in central Manhattan. Free wifi and acceptable free breakfast. A computer is available in the lobby connected to a printer which... More

This was apparently a Comfort Inn which has been 're-furbished' and re-branded. The only thing I can see that's new is the sign. Yes it's in a good location and probably good value for New York but that's where it stops. You're greeted by the smell of Korean cooking in reception as you enter which pervades the bedroom. It does... More

Great location,Quiet, Clean. No coffee maker in room but free machine in lobby 24 hours. Our 3rd stay here, which tells you something. rooms are good size for NYC and we thought good value for money. Would stay here again. No problems with hotel WiFi and they have a computer with printer in the lobby.

Hotel is in a great location literally round the corner from the Empire State and within 2 minutes walk of Macys. One thing to look out for is they have rebranded so look out for Hotel 35 not for the Comfort Inn when going to the hotel. In terms of the room it had a small bathroom but it was... More

Stayed here for 5 nights - with my mother who determined the budget. Pleasantly surprised that it was actually ok, basic and reasonably clean ( they should change the sheets more often and the bathroom was never cleaned properly but they were minor problems). The paper plates and plastic cutlery at breakfast were a 'no no' for me and I... More
