I stayed here from 5th – 9th May as a party of 4, two rooms. The hotel is in a very convenient location and not far from times square. The only problem I had with the location was how rough it got at night, the street it was on was never clear of bin bags and always had gangs lurking... More

We stayed in this hotel on the 7th floor. Our room was one of the newly renovated rooms. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was new and also comfortable. The first 5 floors of this hotel are under a big renovation. There were two small lifts, one of which was taken by the construction people. The first two... More

This hotel is undergoing extensive refurbishment that had a negative affect on our stay. There were two small lifts, one of which was taken out of use from 8am until 6pm that made it time consuming leaving and returning to your room. In frustration you would use the stair and have to pass foul mouthed builders. There were four of... More

I am staying in 11th floor. No internet. They told me it never works in 11th and 12th floor and that I have to come to the lobby to use super "slow" internet that is unbelivably slow that I can't work on my emails. The room size is ok, so if you don't mind not working internet and all the... More

We stayed here for four nights at the beginning of May 2015. My friend and I had been planning our trip to New York for over 4 years, and it was a special trip for our “significant” birthdays. We chose this hotel based on it’s reviews at the time of booking and the fact that it is very well situated... More

My partner & I have just returned from Hotel 35 and it was absolutely fantastic. We stayed on the 10th floor and had a view of the Empire State. The room was comfertable and more spacious than we expected. The bed was comy and the bathroom and shower (and tempreature of the water) were all perfect. I think this is... More

The hotel is undergoing refurbishmentioned so I can't be too critical. Perfectly situated in midtown between The Empire State and Macy's and 50yds from the subway. The staff were fantastic. Friendly and helpful. Our newly refurbished, double aspect room, 1201, was on the top floor overlooking the front and side of the hotel. Wifi is available free throughout the hotel... More

We had the pleasure of staying at Hotel 35 for 6 nights recently. Yes refurbishments were on-going but absolutely no inconvenience or mess (dust) to ourselves. We had a newly decorated room overlooking the Empire State Building - Fantastic. Slept with the window open most nights. We had no noise problems from the city. Breakfast was more than adequate, however,... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
