My husband and I recently spent two nights at this hotel and very much appreciated the friendly and knowledgeable staff, the practical location, and the comfortable room. It's very close to Grand Central Station, and one short block from the street where the airport shuttles stop, so it's great for transportation.

Great hotel and bath updated and very nice. Saw some reviews comparing price to room size. I have stayed at the Marriott Marquis on 5th and the rooms were not ant bigger unleas you got an executive suite, That is just NYC.

We stayed at Seton for a week. I had booked a double room, but was surprised when we entered the room and saw the bed was really just a little larger than normal single bed. Upon request the reception explained that we needed to pay more for an upgrade to normal sized double bed. The bathroom was extremely cold (we... More

First visit to the big apple with my friend - we went for Black Friday and had an amazing time. The hotel is located right next to Grand Central Station, shops and restaurants. The hotel receptionist was very friendly and helpful, she helped us book our helicopter ride! The hotel room is basic but has everything you need. Shared bathrooms... More

Stayed here in January for one week. Lovely hotel, very central and convenient for exploring NYC. we found the rooms to be of a large size for an NYC hotel, with large ensuite bathroom as well. We had a double room. The decor was lovely too, the negative was that the bathroom was absolutely freezing at all times, there appeared... More

I went with my boyfriend on the 2nd of feb and we paid very little for the hotel. Check in was fast and smooth and they let us have our room at 12 o'clock as we got there early. There's free tea and coffee 24 hours a day. I've seen reviews where it said the lift was old and slow,... More

First off i will say the only negative was the shared bathroom, when you need the toilet in the middle of the night having to leave your room isnt ideal. Also if somebody was showering you would have to wait however long it took to use the bathroom. This bathroom was however always clean. We had strong wifi for free... More

Me and my mum visited nyc in May 2014. We stayed in a budget room at the Seton hotel. The hotel is in a great location for exploring the city, near to Grand Central Station. Our room was very compact but as we didn't spend too long in the room and as we were only there for five nights we... More

Me and my partner stayed here for 8 nights December 2014- Jan 2015 and I cannot praise the hotel enough. It was beautifully decorated, always clean and the staff were fantastic. Really helpful and friendly. Our baggage was delayed and they helped us with advising about nearby stores where we could get toiletries and provided us with extra complimentary ones... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
