A small boutique hotel on the East Side of Manhattan. A cab ride to the theater district, but otherwise the location was fine with nice restaurants nearby. Staff was wonderful to us, very friendly and accommodating. Room amenities are nice and complimentary coffee is available on the first floor. Rooms are clean, average sized, quiet and well appointed. This is... More

Spent 4 nights here room 110 opposite the visitors centre. Nice room, good sized bathroom with powerful shower. Friendly and helpful staff. A great location to see all the sights NY has on offer, would definitely stay again.

We booked an economy room with a shared bathroom - which I was a little apprehensive about - but the bathroom was spotless and considering there was only one occasion during our 5 night stay that I couldn't use the bathroom straight away it wasn't an issue whatsoever. The bedroom was compact but as you'd expect for a City hotel... More

This is the place to stay in New York if you´re looking for a clean and affordable hotel with good location. Rooms are small, but as said, clean and quite recently renovated. Bed was comfortable and street noise was tolerable. I have no complains and l will also stay here the next time when visiting New York. I´m planning to... More

My husband & I stayed here just overnight & chose it because of the location of bus stops. On Thursday afternoon we dropped our rental car off at Newark Airport & took the Newark Airport Express bus ($16 p.p.)to Grand Central Terminal then walked just a block to the hotel. So easy! The next morning we left for the Hamptons... More

If you are going to New York, stay here. basic New York hotel, exceptionally clean, very welcoming and friendly staff. Nothing is too much trouble. Very central; at 144, 40th street. Taxis arranged for airport transfers and advice on shuttle busses, sight seeing tours and anything you want to know they mostly know or will find out for you if... More

We booked on Expedia a flight hotel combo, mainly because of price. The photos on the web site were true to form. Very nice Boutique hotel on E40th near Madison. We had a King room with private bath; you have to be careful when you book, rooms are labeled as to if it is a shared bath or private. If... More

My husband and I booked a week-long stay at the Seton for mid-September, then suffered a major setback when hubby fell 15 foot off a ladder and broke a vertebra in his lower back, necessitating major surgery. What does this have to do with the Seton Hotel? Well, being medically unfit to travel, my husband was daunted by the prospect... More

Picked this hotel for the first part of our honeymoon due to the great reviews and the location. We were not disappointed. Everything from checking in to checking out was just perfect. The staff were always very friendly and going out of their way to be helpful. The free tea/coffee was great. The location was perfect, a short walk to... More

Whenever I go to NY on business, I try to stay near Grand Central as I always need to either get on Metro North or go out to Queens. I found Seton Hotel for my last trip and booked it because it is in a perfect location for me, and I was not really fond of Pod 39, which is... More
