We stayed here for 1 week in May! The hotel was very clean, modern and had great wifi. The rooms are small and neat but comfortable and chic. There are lots of bars/restaurants near by within walking distance, along with all the NYC landmarks!

Hotel was renovated recently, indeed. If you get a decent room you are lucky and have a comfortable stay. If you forget to double-check you may get a room with communal bathroom (shower and toilet shared with other people in the hall), which is what happened with me. Indeed this was mentioned in the small print of the confirmation etc,... More

We stayed at the Seton a Hotel for three nights and overall it was a good experience. The hotel is very well located on East 40th, not far from Grand Central Terminal. Rooms are small, with newly refurbished bathrooms and showers with proper glass doors, which we like. Storage in the room is a little limited, but there's a desk,... More

We stayed 3 nights at the Seton just recently and enjoyed our time there. The rooms are very small but clean and comfortable, staff very helpful and friendly. The location is very handy, walking distance to Broadway and Times Square and the subway. Would definitely stay at the Seton again.

We spent 4 nights in this hotel in July 2014, as part of our honeymoon. We found the hotel had a great location for getting around Manhattan. The reception staff were very helpful and able to answer all our queries about transport, attractions and shows. There is complimentary tea and coffee in the lobby area, great for a caffeine boost... This hotel is a little gem. Perfectly located in Midtown it is really close to Grand Central which gives you amazing access to the whole city. The room was great. Really good size and beds were really comfy. Staff were very helpful and pleasant with restaurant recommendations and help with travel. Would definitely come back here and recommend it to... More

Stayed here for 4 nights. Walked everywhere including theatre and Hi Line. Rooms comfortable and all the staff were extremely pleasant. Would definitely recommend. Lots of nice restaurants nearby including Scotty's Diner which they recommend. The authentic experience

I have started taking to boutique hotel stays in NYC when I visit. The Seton Hotel has a fantastic location, very quick to and from LGA, Close to Grand Central, and very clean. Extraordinarily kind staff and reasonably sized room. And there is no way to beat the value for $$. I'd stay again.

The seton hotel is in the perfect location. You can get a bus from the airport to grand central, and from there it is a five minute walk to the hotel. Easy! Our room was small, but we were literally only sleeping there and we didn't need a luxurious space. Besides, there is a terrace and TV room with sofas... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
