The only good thing about this hotel is the location. In the middle of Manhattan, you can walk to many shops and restaurants, if you don't mind the walking that is. I felt really uncomfortable because the room was too small! Yes it is New York alright, but I did not even have space to walk after bringing in my... More

Everything was excellent. The staff was kind and let us keep the luggage the whole day before leaving, offered us to borrow an umbrella when it rained and were friendly in general. The room was a bit small, but in very good condition and the bathroom was excellent. It's located away from any big streets, so there is no sound... More

... for walking. The interiors are lovely and the rooms seem to be all differently decorated in various quirky ways. Our room was at the front, so we heard quite a bit of traffic, but the bed was very comfortable, the shower was great and those are the two things I want from a hotel! Very friendly and helpful staff... More

My partner and I spent four nights at the Seton Hotel in a sweltering week in June. Prior to arrival, staff were very prompt and helpful in answering emails with queries as to whether our room included a private bathroom. The Seton is billed as a boutique hotel and is situated a few minutes away from Grand Central Station. 'Boutique'... More

This is a great boutique hotel in the Murray Hill area of Manhattan. The staff are lovely, helpful with no question or assistance being any bother for them. Our room was to the back of the building on the 2nd floor. As NY is a city which does not sleep there was an element of noise but after long days... More

The Seton was a fabulous hotel to stay at. It's location just 2 blocks from Grand Central Terminal put it within walking distance of many tourist sites and an easy subway ride away from the rest. Also, BONUS it is *right next door* to a Shake Shack. YUM! My daughter and I shared a double room with a shared bathroom.... More

We stayed here for the long weekend. Had to try what everyone is raving about. Expeditions met. This Hotel is good located, and very good Hotel. Large comfortable quiet rooms. The hotel is only in the bottom two floors of the building so you won't get much of a view.

If you are booking through a third party beware: some rooms in this hotel are shared bathroom rooms and it is not always specified on the documentation. Ring the hotel if in doubt. I initially and unexpectedly found myself in shared facilities having expected en-suite. It was all sorted out, magnificently, by the front desk people at the Seton. They... More

Stayed here in Decembers such a cute little hotel, lovely and clean. The staff were so friendly too,it's the perfect hotel for New York, you don't need a huge room as you spend more time outside anyway. The shared bathroom was never a problem either as we were slightly worried but we never bumped into anyone when going. It was... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
