Booked to stay in this hotel however only informed us 10 days before they had overbooked so we had to find alternative arrangement- not happy! Hopefully our new hotel will provide us with better service!

Seton provides all that you need whilst in New York. Reception staff helpful and welcoming. Stayed on the 6th floor, the room was clean and comfortable. Great free coffee from the reception area. If you are planning to have a base, in NY look no further.

My husband and I were on a very tight schedule to book a hotel last minute for Manhattan, NY. Based on TripAdvisor reviews and the room rates for Seton Hotel, it seemed like our best last minute option. I was fairly hesitant about the shared washroom, but during our stay there (Nov 16 to 21, 2014), we never had to... More

My first time at this hotel, having stayed in many NYC hotels. Check in was prompt and friendly, fun old-fashioned hotel elevator to a clean, 'old-style' room - not small by NYC standards, with high 10 or 12 foot ceiling which did make it feel more spacious. Nice bed, work desk, and a good bathroom. Free coffee downstairs, free wifi... More

What an amazing stay we had at the Seton Hotel, from the moment we arrived to the minute we left. The welcome we received from the staff was so friendly, they could not help enough with places to see, places to eat, etc. I would like to mention Emmauel & Maurice in particular who know the true menaing of hospitality,... The hotel had a great location, but just about everything else wasn't that great. We got a double room with a private washroom and it was on the 6th floor. The hotel location was a short walk from Grand Central. Easy access to Grand Central was convenient for our travels throughout New York. Though we didn't really go too far,... More

Very good location, we had room 204 for first night, that room was bit noisy for a pipe-noise, but as we complaint after that we were transferred to another room quickly. Rooms were bit small, but had everything we needed and the staff was most friendly. They recommended some nice restaurants (the Mexican one around the corner was really good)... More

This hotel is well located, the rooms are clean (but small) and the staff are very friendly and helpful. However, we had very little sleep as it is probably the noisiest hotel we have ever stayed in with paper-thin walls! Our first night (Halloween) was spent in Room 310 next to four young guys in 309 who were noisily pre-drinking... More

My girlfriend and I arrived for her first, my second trip to New York and the hotel couldn't have been better. We arrived 3 hours prior to check-in hoping to just drop off our luggage to our surprise they had a room ready. The room was small, but that's to be expected and was exceptionally clean. I had been nervous... More

We booked through Expedia, thanks to what looked like a great rate for a typical room for one night in NYC midtown. Upon our early arrival, the hotel staff let us store our bags in their closet until it was time to check in. We parked at a garage down the street (the hotel can stamp your pass, allowing you...
