Back for my annual NY visit, I decided to book The Milburn again. Travelled solo this time, so booked a smaller room than I usually do. Still plenty of space, and also a small kitchenette with refridgerator included here. Great for groceries. Stayed on the 13th floor, which have been revamped over the last two years. Only downside was that... More

Stayed here the other night after a work event. The room was spacious by NYC standards and it had an unusually comfortable bed, as well as a kitchenette. The bathroom was quite old and the toilet did not work well in terms of flushing. That surely needs some attention. The staff was pleasant and helpful an there is a free... More

Friends recommended The Milburn and we were not disappointed. My husband and I stayed at it Christmas to New Year's. They upgraded us to a suite, friendly staff, reasonable continental breakfast if you wanted to partake ( it was a bit busy each morning and breakfast room was small), perfect location, Central Park close, subway close, wine store close, French... We were looking for an affordable, weekend stay near family on the Upper West Side. The room was just large enough for 4, though bigger than other NYC accommodations we have stayed in. Breakfast was nice, front desk staff was helpful with car service, computer and printer access and generally friendly. We will stay here again. good value.

Great location and very friendly staff. Hotel is on the older side but the rooms were extremely clean and the mattress was one of the most comfortable hotel mattresses we ever slept on. Great bang for your buck!

We were here for 4 days and only at the very last night - 8pm when time difference makes any contact impossible to Italy- they told us the room was not paid by the travel agency. We paid 1 month ago and only 7 hours before we leave they pretend the room must be paid again! We get in serious... More

We had a short break in New York and this hotel was a good place to stay. Good location, easy subway access and walking distance of Central Park. Recommend visiting Italian Restaurant Seraphina on Broadway close by.

We just spent New Year's eve in NYC and stayed at this hotel. From the lobby to the rooms to the breakfast room this place is "classy" and impeccable. The staff is professional , the lobby is comfortable with books to borrow and the breakfast was good. The nice kitchenette had coffee and tea available and a couple of dishes... More

Love the neighborhood! Close to shops, restaurants and the subway. Friendly staff. Our room had bedroom and pull-out sofa in living room area, kitchenette. Only complaint is a lumpy sofa bed mattress.

This hotel is truly appalling. My family forced me to stay here and my god was it the biggest mistake. Just about everything is falling apart, the bed is mushy, the pillows are disgusting. Hair is in the bed, and hair is just about everywhere you could imagine. Every single hallway has a stench of cigarette smoke and every room... More

This guest must have been staying at a different hotel. None of the descriptions are correct - no flowered wallpaper, no green water, no horrible beds, no dirty linens, smoke free, no mold anywhere, excellent cable TV reception, etc. Just look at the other reviews for comparison. We can only attribute this to a mistake, or sheer malice. More
