This is by no means an above average hotel. The rooms are average. The bathroom was so small my elbows just about hit both walls. The walls are thin and could hear the people next door like they were in my room. The kitchenette was a converted closet that had a microwave, refrigerator and sink. There was almost no closet space.... More

The hotel is in a great location and close to both Riverside and Central Parks. Many good restaurants, stores, and bars nearby, as well. I would highly recommend Fairway Markets for groceries, Amsterdam Ale House for drinks, and Patsy's for dinner. All are close by. The rooms were clean and our view was amazing. The staff was very friendly and... More

I chose this hotel for our stay in May 2015 based on tripadvisor reviews. It is not the best hotel I have stayed in but for the Upper West Side location it was definitely good value for the money. The room was large by NY standards. We had a king bed as well as a rollaway for our daughter. The... More

Good location, good place to stay. Our son's graduation was at Columbia so it worked out just perfect. Plus good restaurants, shops and transportation in walking distance. Very safe place to stay as well.

I have stayed at the Milburn a few times. I have always found the staff to be helpful and the rooms to be clean and comfortable. The location, 76th and Broadway is a wonderful, vibrant neighborhood, near Lincoln Center. The Broadway subway line is only a few blocks away as are many restaurants and shops. The Milburn is always the... More

Very good hotel on the West Side area. two subway stations nearby (72 and 79th. streets) and two big supermarkets. Room was really spacious (3 adults with 3 suitcases) with in-room safe deposit box. Had a kitchenette with fridge, microwave, coffee and tea makers, cutlery and tableware. Breakfast was included. They served orange juice, cereals, yogurt, eggs, bagels, pieces of... More

The Milburn was a nice find. What stands out: (1) Very friendly and helpful staff - they are in my top 5 this year. Kudos Adam for knowing close by running routes (2) Love the little micro-wave, counter combo (3) Great neighborhood with Whole Foods, Trader Joes, Starbucks all near by. 72nd street subway station for the 1,2, and 3... The Best "Pre War" hotel on the upper west of NYC Great rooms and the best area without the midtown madness. Near all kinds of great places to eat or bars to hang out in. Near the 72nd st #1 & 2 subways and busses. It's a very laid back hotel to stay at. THUMBS UP !!!!!

A great place to stay. Pleasant neighborhood setting. Staff friendly and accommodating. Rooms comfortable and large by NY standards. Breakfast is a nice addition. All recent upgrades including new hvac are a big improvement.

We have been staying at the Milburn for many years now. Its location is great, near subway and bus stops and good grocery stores and restaurants. There's a free breakfast but also each room has a kitchenette so you can save $ by eating in if you want. The staff is very friendly. And the price is right.
