I stayed at this HGI the week of February 15 for a business trip. The wonderful service started before I arrived at the hotel. The front desk helped me arrange travel from the airport to the hotel. Check-in is efficient and they go above and beyond to meet room needs. Amena, the concierge, helped me with directions, dinner recommendations, and... More

I chose this hotel based on location and rate. This was my wife's and I first trip to NY. We were traveling with another couple whom had been before. I had called the hotel a few times before arrival, and was always treated well and had my questions answered. The front desk was great. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We... More

My family and I have been to stay in NY many times in the last several years and found our way to this hotel last year and this is at the top of our list. My daughter goes to school in the city and we will be returning every time we visit her. 5 stars on all counts. Thanks to... More

We stayed at the Hilton Garden on 35th Street in January during the holiday weekend. Because we were a party of 5 we chose to stay in 2 rooms. We tried to reserve a connecting room but were unable to confirm until the day prior to arrival. The day prior to arrival we were advised that this was misinformation but... More

Just returned home from another stay at this Hilton Garden, which has become our “go-to” hotel for weekends in Manhattan. Its location is perfect for us, easy walking to shopping, theater, and good restaurants. Rates are reasonable—actually quite good at this time of year. Although rooms are small (it is New York, after all), they’re very clean and with every... More

My husband and I have stayed at this HGI each of the past 6 years. I can't agree more with other comments about the convenience of its location. The décor and fixtures show signs of aging now, little things like creased curtains, loose faucet handle, toilet less than 100% vacating, which no doubt will be seen to per HGI regular... More

Located in mid-town Manhattan, the hotel offers professional and friendly service, excellent breakfast option, and good rooms. Ideal for both tourists and business travelers. Close to subway station. Lots of restaurant choices available nearby. Staff at the front desk and restaurant are extremely friendly and helpful.

This was my first visit to a HGI but it certainly won't be my last! Arrived at hotel an hour before scheduled check-in but were able to get into room as it was ready. Only had a few dealings with reception staff as had no issues at all - Tameika checked us in, Amy provided us with a late check-out... More

This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel, and again it has been an awesome experience. It's by far the best hotel in NY! Sami at the front desk was great and even helped us when our flight came in earlier then expected. He got us a room right away even though it was 2AM! The location... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
