Extremely clean and quiet, in fact surprisingly quiet for its location. Very helpful front desk people. The only downside was the extremely uncomfortable bed. Despite the sign at the front desk for adjustable bed comfort levels for king size beds, when we called down to the front desk about the level of discomfort we were experiencing, we were told they... My friends and I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn as part of a girls' weekend trip. The hotel was decent and clean, but for a Hilton hotel I did expect more. In the spring, my husband and I had stayed at the Hampton Inn which is located next door and I felt like it was a better deal. The... More

Very nice staff and the room I stayed in was big and very comfortable. Alex and Stephanie are two of the staffmembers who was explicit in their work! The location of the hotel is very good. Close to everything that you need with the worlds biggest store, Macys, around the corner.

I was recently in NYC for business and stayed at this property because I needed to be close to Penn Station. The location of this hotel is great, just a few blocks (7 minute walk) to Penn Station - and if it's too cold, you can go through Macys to 7th Ave and just walk a block to Penn Station.... More

Very affordable! My stay at the Hilton Garden Inn on West 35th street was pleasing to my liking. Staff was friendly, the rooms comfortable and near the Manhattan Mall, Penn Station, plus Time Square. 😀

I finally have a chance to give this property a proper review. First and foremost, Tamieka at the front desk could not have been more helpful and courteous. HGI should consider having her train its new employees, as her customer service skills are top-notch! I chose this hotel for several reasons: we always take Amtrak to NYC and this hotel... More

After reading a number of mediocre reviews for some other hotels (through websites like LivingSocial and Groupon), I decided to look around for some better-reviewed hotels for a getaway weekend in NYC. I found the Hilton Garden Inn to be reasonably priced (cheap, for NYC standards) and very well reviewed. The staff was very friendly, accommodating, and helpful. The check-in... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
