Great location, the staff was incredible! Will absolutely visit this hotel again. My mother fell during our trip and the staff was more concerned about her well being than the restaurant she fell at. Jasmine is the best!

The staff, or shall I say the one person working there was nice. The room, although the size of a shoebox was clean...bed was comfortable. The air conditioner was really loud, I called to complain but they told me maintanance left for the day. Good to know if things break down at night, you're screwed. The area SUCKS. It's totally... stuff very friendly. The rooms are little bit small but clean. But is normal for NY we stayed in another hotel in NY on our last trip and it was the same size. Also very close to Javits center and if you like to walk, relative close to the Time square and Subway. Yiannis Arvanitidis.

This was my first visit to New York for Lightfair and was very happy with the hotel. The rooms are very clean little small but was told this is typical New York but the service was fantastic. The clerk at the front desk Lyn was fantastic she explained directions well to some great restuarants and sites of interest and if... More

Yes, the rooms are very small - but it is NYC, what do you expect. The were also very clean and comfortable, with in-room coffee. Front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Location: If you are going to an event at the Javits Center, this is an ideal location - literally 1 minute walk away. There is not much... More

Stayed for Interphex 2015, Clean, Quiet. Entrance "GEM HOTEL" lights were off at night, all three nights Taxi's drove passed it. Drivers and I were upset, becasue the taxi cost more!. Turnon-fix lights.

I stayed here for two nights. Almost everyone was very friendly and professional. Only one of the night auditors looked like he did not care and was actually unavailable for most of the night. The guy who worked the second night I was there was very friendly and helpful, though. The coffee machine was a very cool feature, although it... More

My wife and I stayed three nights this past week while we attended a convention in the area for business. The hotel lobby, elevator and room were all very clean. Great A/C, no strange odors or stuffiness, which I am sensitive to. Our room's view faced another building but that was fine, made for quite nights. There was a slight... More

I stayed here during the "historic" blizzard of 2015. The hotel is nice enough, but on the last day of my stay, after working an 11 hour day and trudging through several blocks of torrential wind and snow, I entered the hotel only to be accosted by the two people working at the front desk, who were somehow able to... Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
