We recently had a wonderful week at Mount Morris House. If you like older places with character and style then MMH is for you. It was a great oasis in the business of NYC but also very close to everything by subway. Harlem was also a great area to see up close. One warning - there are lots of stairs... More

Recently stayed at Mount Morris House for a week with 3 friends. The apartment provided the perfect accommodations for our trip at far less than comparable hotel lodging. Mount Morris is charming without being pretentious, and the photos do not do it justice. It was a wonderful addition to our trip to stay in an authentic brownstone in a real... More

Chose this place as an alternative to a downtown NEW York Hotel. The house is lovely, tastefully decorated, clean and in a great location for transport links to the city. The rooms are large and had a great shower. Harlem was an interesting area to stay and we enjoyed our visit

my husband and I recently stayed here for 8 nights and loved it. Vasili is a great host who is house proud and helpful. The house is beautifully decorated and we really liked the location as well. Obviously it's not in the heart of the action but we really liked that about Mount Morris House. Upper Manhattan / Harlem is... More

I stayed in St Morris House, with a friend, at the beginning of September 2014. The place was everything I expected to find and more. Beautifully restored Victorian townhouse furnished with period furniture. If you like ultra-modern and beige, the place is probably not for you, on the other hand you might be converted, it is that beautiful. The location... More

Our family of three - two adults and a teen girl - loved coming back to the very comfortable and spaciousTerracotta Suite after long days of sight seeing all over New York and the boroughs. My commute to NYU's Game Magnet campus in Brooklyn was an easy trip on the subway for the two days that I had a seminar... More

The moment you turn the brass knob and enter the foyer, the rest of the world disappears and you are swept back in time. Vasili greeted me as if I was an old friend and promptly showed me up to a giant wood-paneled room with high ceilings, the most interesting chandelier you can imagine, a clawfoot tub, fireplace and water... We stayed in the apartment of Mount Morris House for 10 nights. The location was great. Near to good shops and restaurants in Harlem and easy access to public transport and North Central Park. We were very well looked after with fantastic rooms, great service, laundry as required and an endless supply of the best cookies I have ever tasted.... More

We have just returned from 8 wonderful days staying at the Mount Morris House. From the start everything was great.Vasili made us feel very welcome from the start and helped us settle in very quickly. It is situated opposite the Park in a lovely residential street. The house is beautiful, and so tastefully done. The room was wonderful, large and... More
