Our family of three - two adults and a teen girl - loved coming back to the very comfortable and spaciousTerracotta Suite after long days of sight seeing all over New York and the boroughs. My commute to NYU's Game Magnet campus in Brooklyn was an easy trip on the subway for the two days that I had a seminar... More

The moment you turn the brass knob and enter the foyer, the rest of the world disappears and you are swept back in time. Vasili greeted me as if I was an old friend and promptly showed me up to a giant wood-paneled room with high ceilings, the most interesting chandelier you can imagine, a clawfoot tub, fireplace and water... We stayed in the apartment of Mount Morris House for 10 nights. The location was great. Near to good shops and restaurants in Harlem and easy access to public transport and North Central Park. We were very well looked after with fantastic rooms, great service, laundry as required and an endless supply of the best cookies I have ever tasted.... More

We have just returned from 8 wonderful days staying at the Mount Morris House. From the start everything was great.Vasili made us feel very welcome from the start and helped us settle in very quickly. It is situated opposite the Park in a lovely residential street. The house is beautiful, and so tastefully done. The room was wonderful, large and... More

Despite the B&B website with guests raving about their breakfast, there was no such breakfast provided and we were told that we were so informed in an email. When I returned home, I did find a line that breakfast was not provided. They did have a "butler's area" with a small fridge and where you could make toast, coffee or... More

Loved the Harlem location friendly and always felt safe. Great host who added to the experience. No breakfast but snacks and coffee 24 hrs a day, very clean and comfortable room. You really felt you weren't in the city after hectic days being a tourist.

For the second spring in a row, I met friends for another lovely stay at Mt Morris House. The hosts are the best in the city, and their home is gorgeous.
