This was our first trip to New York (We are from England) and I don't think we could of chosen better. The location was excellent and the building an interesting typical Manhattan brown house which was spacious and impeccably decorated and furnished. Our suite and the whole building was spotless and within a short distance of subway trains and busses... More

I stayed with friends at Mt Morris House for 6 nights over Christmas. I think it is a wonderful choice. We had the entire topv floor loft area and it was very comfortable. The breakfasts were fantastic and the hosts, Vasily and Diomitri were unobtrustive but friendly and helpful. They were particularly thoughtful as one of our group was celebrating... More

I have stayed in several B&B’s over the last 7 years in Manhattan but I consider Mt Morris House the best find and experience for too many reasons to list here. If you appreciate turn of the19th-20th century brownstones, i.e.historical architecture, nationally preserved neighborhoods, quiet, feels-like-I live-here, then Mt Morris House is it. I have stayed in inns in Chelsea,... More

Stayed 6 nights in August 2011. Could not fault the premises, breakfasts or the hospitality in any way. The bus to downtown stopped at the front door. There was also some excellent eateries one block away. We would highly recommend Mount Morris House to couples or families as the place to stay in New York [Manhattan] More

Stayed in Jade room for 7 nights in November 2011. Mount Morris House is a beautifully restored brownstone house in a great place of Manhattan (Harlem, adjacent to Mount Morris park). First location. Located in Harlem this place is not central. However, its connections to downtown NYC are great. There is a bus just outside the house that takes you... More

We had a very enjoyable stay, the rooms were clean, thoughtfully decorated and spacious. The block is located in an architecturally interesting area with easy and quick access to mid and down-town by the nearby subway station or by scenic bus route down 5th Avenue. Fellow guests were equally impressed, we recommend Mount Morris House as a great place to... More

Me and my 80-year old Mom picked this wonderful B&B for our 6-nights stay in October 2011. We could not have picked a better place! Every nice word you read about this place on Tripadvisor is correct - this is a true gem in New York! The hosts Vasili and Dimitri are the simply the best B&B hosts you can... More

My sister and I just spent a week in the terracotta suite, and absolutely adored it. Vasili and Dimitri have done a beautiful job restoring the house and making it into a comfortable and welcoming B&B. They are charming and knowledgeable, always ready to give tips on local restaurants or information about the china in the dining room, if asked.... More

We always use Trip Advisor when searching for accommodation and this is how we found out about this little gem. We have just returned to NZ after a 10 day stay at Mount Morris B&B in NY city. What can I say that hasn't been said before. I can't, it's all true what you read and or hear about this... More
