5th ave spot is a great value, the staff was very friendly and our room was clean. i would say it was definitely worth the money to have a private room and bathroom. the hotel is literally around the corner from the subway and they let us leave our bags in a locked closet before check in. the only negative... more

The staffs were very friendly, but the room have 8 beds in a room that suppose to hold 4. At least if you want to make sure that the guests doesn't need to bump to each other luggage when walking . Saying all that, I will recommend the HOSTEL TO SOLO TRAVEL ONLY!!! Because the price is too good. Group... more

Very good staff and clean. Nice patio to go out to drink and smoke. Liked it so much I stayed two weeks. It's time for me to move on but I would come back to this hostel for sure. more

So, I suppose the staff were friendly enough, especially since I was dealing with the night crew.
