Spent an enjoyable 8 nights here recently and the location could not be any better. Close to the subway where you can get just about anywhere from the thriving community of Chelsea. Even just up the road is the world renowned "Eaterly" Italian market and restaurant attraction, a must see when in the neighbourhood. Breakfast is offered complimentary in the... More

I stay here for a three night biz trip, will check out tomorrow but start to miss Dorothy - the Inn Cat, and 'my' room! I would say the Inn keeper is very generous and intend to make their guests feel home - though I never see them.. I'm now having a glass of wine and enjoying delicious cheese, crackers,... More

I was attending a conference in New York and needed to get in the evening before. My usual haunts in Manhattan were either a) WAAAAY overpriced or b) sold out. So I went to Booking.com and found The Inn on 23. Very glad I did. For $169 (plus tax) I had a top floor room (with a ceiling skylight) that... More

"Hidden Gem" could describe this little Inn. First, the good part--and there is plenty of good to say! Kevin at the front desk was wonderfully welcoming and helpful. There is a wine and cheese social in the evenings, an honor bar with very low prices, nicely stocked. Breakfast was very generous by most hotel standards--many choices ranging from a hot... More

We have been to NY a few times, and stayed in a variety of major hotels. The Inn on 23rd was exactly as other reviewers had said. It was a great location and find, i have been reluctant to review it. It was centrally located - we walked from Central Park back 1 day - no problems, we walked down... More

Great location in Chelsea , a block from gathom comedy club for those of you that like to laugh, very nice grocery store/ deli right next door, so is an eclectic bar in the street level of the hotel. The team makes you feel welcomed in a family style, My place in NY for next time. Highly recommended

I'm so glad I stayed here for several nights on a business trip. The B and B, not far from the Flatiron building, is a refreshing change from a NYC hotel. My room was large with a four-poster bed, chaise lounge, love seat, desk and TV. The room even had a 'white noise' machine next to the bed contributing to... More

The Inn on 23 is situated in a great location - Chelsea- and is easily accessible from the metro. My room was very spacious and I found the decor to be to my tasting. As my room was at the back of the hotel it was very quiet which was quite pleasant after having stayed in far noiser hotels in... More

We enjoyed our two nights at the Inn on 23rd--great atmosphere. Our room was spacious by New York standards. We enjoyed the Chelsea neighborhood. The subway is close, and the front desk people were very good in advising us how to navigate. We also used their Met Museum passes, and that was great. The breakfast was good--nothing amazing, but it... More
