The Inn on 23 is situated in a great location - Chelsea- and is easily accessible from the metro. My room was very spacious and I found the decor to be to my tasting. As my room was at the back of the hotel it was very quiet which was quite pleasant after having stayed in far noiser hotels in... More

We enjoyed our two nights at the Inn on 23rd--great atmosphere. Our room was spacious by New York standards. We enjoyed the Chelsea neighborhood. The subway is close, and the front desk people were very good in advising us how to navigate. We also used their Met Museum passes, and that was great. The breakfast was good--nothing amazing, but it... More

My wife and I very much enjoyed the attentive & friendly staff, our room, and the comfortable library/dining room. It's a surprisingly quiet place on an otherwise busy street. Good breakfast and wine & cheese late afternoon sitting in what feels like a large room in an old house. Exposed brisk walls and interesting architectural features. Pub downstairs, also owned... This is my new place to stay in NY. It is clean, quiet and comfortable. It has a very nice home-away-from-home feeling and spacious rooms. I appreciated the free high-speed internet and desk in our room.

i thoroughly enjoyed my two night stay at the inn on 23rd. the entire hotel has a very "homey" feel to it and while some may say the decor is dated, it was familiar somehow. i particularly appreciated the quiet, even though the hotel's located on relatively busy part of 23rd street. i slept like a baby, which has been... I love this place. I am in NY every few months on business and stay here every time. After years of traveling for work I am over hotels - even the 5 star ones. Come and enjoy the hospitality and cosy decor. Bring a bit of calm to your busy New York visit. The owners are lovely, the cat is... More

My friend and I visited during the coldest time of year and had the warmest welcome! Everyone was very helpful and called us by name starting the first day. The beds were very comfortable and the space was cozy. I recommend the restaurant below as well. Great food and great conversation. Thank you for making our trip memorable!

We were on a business trip in Princeton, sleeping in a hotel with absolutely no soul whatsoever for 2 days. Being Europeans we decided to prolong the trip with an extra night in Manhattan. The choice of hotel was quite accidental. The placement was more or less the only reason for the choice. But sometimes you can get a pleasant... More

We are glad that we chose the Inn on 23rd. We have stayed in big hotels, but prefer a nice little hotel in the big city. Here is very personal. The staff is very helpful. There is a cozy living room where we had good and variet breakfast and met the other guests. There are water, the and coffe available... More
