We recently spent 6 nights at the Inn on 23rd and found it completely comfortable, charming and worth every penny. The lobby and library are beautifully decorated, the rooms are unique and the breakfasts are delicious. The staff was helpful, but unobtrusive and we especially appreciated that we could store food in the refrigerator and have a late night snack... more

My family (2 adults one teenager) stayed at The Inn on 23rd from April 14-18 2009. We found the location excellent, rooms were very clean and the staff friendly and very helpful. The library/breakfast room is a great place to hang out at any time of the day and offers plenty of space to spread out and read the paper,... more

We have just got back from spending 3 nights at the Inn on 23rd. We stayed in the Quilt room which was a lovely, cosy space on the 3rd floor of the Inn. We got a really warm welcome and found the place very friendly throughout our stay, the reception staff were discreet and there when you needed them. The... more

My girlfriend and I stayed in the Inn on 23rd for four nights back in October, 2008 and had an absolutely wonderful stay. We travelled from Ireland for a 2-week break, spending the first 9 nights in the Chelsea International Hostel on 20th (so we could afford a longer stay) and topped off the holiday with our time in the... more

What a wonderful place! If you are looking for a clean, slightly quarky b&b with a lovely sitting room, great breakfast, huge kitty(Dorothy) to pet and very nice and helpful people look no more! I was fortunate enough to be recommended this Inn after another b&b I sought out was booked. From the initial contact up through to my departure... more

"New York, New York's a hell of a town.." I'll give this place 5 stars of complete, detailed disapproval. Our party booked two of the best rooms at "The Inn on 23rd". Upon arrival, I was initially charmed by the living room, including the piano, a cat, and the decor in general. It was a breath of fresh air, figuratively... more

We stayed at the Inn on 23rd for four nights, including a weekend, and unlike the previous reviewer, were certainly not disappointed. We invested a little time getting to know the owners, managers and staff, and the warmth and hospitality we received in return was amazing. The Inn has a quirky charm that is hard to describe, but hopefully the... more

We had read good reviews of this B&B but we were disappointed. The rooms were spacious, clean and the beds were very comfortable. However despite the comfy bed we had virtually sleepless nights. Firstly our room overlooked the street - I live in London and I am used to noise but this was incredibly noisy. The traffic thundered past all... more

Visited the hotel for three nights in September. The hotel is great, and the staff extremely helpful. The room was beautiful and clean and the library/breakfast room was lovely. It was good to visit local restaurants which although busy always had a table, and you felt as though you were seeing the real New York not just the tourist area.... more
