Very disappointing as this Central Park House doesn't exist, we were transferred to another site at 73rd street 9thWest. Nothing like the picture. Television didn't work, gave up. When arriving at the desk 2 other couples were complainning about hot water, heating. We were missing a blind in the lounge area to sleep in no heating on and off all... More

I can't begin to guess felipeplaza's standards. This may be the worst hotel I've ever experienced. Filthy, broken, smelly, overpriced. Disgusting at any price -- outrageous for what we paid.

We arrived during a torrential rain storm. There was no cover at the front door where we had to buzz in. The person on the buzzer said my card had been declined. I had to plead with her to be allowed to get in out of the rain so I could give her another card. I gave the same card... More

I stayed here at the start of the year with some friends, the matress was lumpy and the toilet was broken so we had to use the one in the lobby, the staff were very unfriendly and refused to help when my husband got creamed by a bus outside, the room overall was dirty and in bad shape, i would... Stayed three nights. Looks just like the photos. Very IKEA-ish decor. Everything very clean except the woodwork around doorknobs needed attention. Fully equipped kitchen. Comfortable bed, we asked for an extra blanket and got one right away. I would have been nice to have more towels though. Remember this is not a hotel! No one makes the bed, etc. Beautiful... More

I have never reviewed anyone online but I think that people should know about this place. We were a family travelling with young children so thought that the apartment style was a great option. The fold out bed was BROKEN and although we called them (the service number NEVER answered until the reservation desk connected us so that line is... More

Having stayed in apartment 4F for a week we now conclude that the guy saying this was an unsafe place should go back to his retirement home in the country. We are a family of four with two small children who spent the time in New York walking around, sight seeing, museum watching etc. New York is a special place... More

We had a great time, It is in a great location is very clean and modern, and we felt very safe. The person below must have not been paying attention about the part where this is more like an apartment building than a hotel. There is no front desk or staff, but who cares!? You feel like you ar living... More

Too bad as this place has a lot of potential but has clearly word has spread that this is the place to throw wild parties. This place has no staff, building management or security (yes, no security) on site. Proved to be a big problem as one of the nights we were there two rowdy and extremely loud parties were... More

Neighborhood Profile
Upper West Side
Nestled between Central Park and the Hudson River, the Upper West Side offers iconic architecture and a quiet, residential respite from the buzzing energy of downtown. Along Central Park West are many of the city’s most iconic apartment buildings, as well as the American Museum of Natural History, which has been welcoming visitors to its historic exhibit halls for over 140 years. Culture fans will love Lincoln Center, home to some of the world’s best opera, dance, film, and theater performances, all centrally located around a beautiful fountain. Spanning the entire length of the Upper West Side, Riverside Park is ideal for a long, leisurely stroll in a quiet green space.
