Very good hotel, great location. The rooms and bathrooms are confortable, the ammenities are from neutrogena. They accept to receive boxes and packages for guests with no extra costs. Breakfast is not so good, food is not very fresh and wealthy, but this is usual in United States. The only negative side was a woman in reception called Kathy. Whens... More

Before selecting this hotel, decide what is more important - convenience or sleep? The location is great as it is near Herald Square, 5th Avenue and the subway. The challenge is the hustle and bustle on the street. This is not a quiet place inside or outside of the hotel. I also had challenges with a slow sink drain and... More

From the moment we walked in until the day that we left, the staff had a smile on their faces and wanted to help in every way possible. They were so very nice and went above and beyond our expectations!! This hotel is in a great location. We felt very safe walking to and from the hotel. We had breakfast... More

This was my 3rd time staying at this hotel. I pick it for the location, it is very centrally located you can walk or take the train. The rates for the hotel are comparable. The hotel is not high end, however it is perfect for what I need and the breakfast included is a great value.

Overall a clean, quiet, comfortable room located in the heart of Midtown Manhattan. Close to landmarks, taxis, restaurants, bars etc. Hot buffet breakfast included in price and well worth it (no need to leave the hotel especially with rainy weather).

There is no room to sit and relax or barely move around in this room. The beds weren't comfortable and you can hear everything going on in the hallways. The staff is very good, and the free breakfast is fine. The fitness room is clean and in working order, but there weren't any sanitary wipes to clean off the machines.

We booked our stay at this Hampton Inn due to our usual location being unavailable. We hardly felt any difference, the quality, staff and everything in general was A+ as expected. We normally stay 4 days, and I make a point of learning the names of the staff. Welcoming desk staff Maria, Daymar and Kristina were most helpful and had... More

The room was smaller than I expected but was very nice. The room was clean and the bedding was changed before our arrival. Great view of the Empire State Building. Hotel staff was super nice and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Just steps away from Macy's and subway station, excellent location. The double bed room is a bit small, which is quite typical in New York. Breakfast bar is too small and is always cramped with people during peak hours, however, great breakfast selection (make your own waffle). Coffee and water is available near the breakfast area 24/7. Room was clean... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
