Thanks again. Another great couple of nights in New York. The location is great, just a few blocks from everything. Breakfast was crowded, but this is to be expected. Beds were more than comfortable. Room was great. Heater felt like it was struggling a bit in 1108, but it was like 2 degrees outside. This was my second time at... More

Stayed 5 nights at this hotel in february 2015. First of all great location - walking distance to most interesting things. Hotel could use a renovation but that could be said about many NY hotels. We had a an all right room with big comfortable beds - only thing we missed was a fridge. Breakfast is fine - I just... More

Arrived here at 1am and found this hotel not to be at a Hampton Inn standard. The worst aspect was that room was not clean. The bathroom had old soap, lots of hair and was generally dirty. They just appeared to change the towels. The rooms are small and not well laid out. Location is excellent and breakfast was good.... More

Hotel was clean and comfortable. Room was quite small. Free Wi-Fi was nice and worked with any problems. Breakfast surprised us very positively! It was better and healthier than we expected. Location was perfect - metro was near and to many places could walk.

I booked through website booking.com and selected the option to pay in advance. When I arrived at the hotel some few days later and after an 8 hour flight, I was told that my card had been declined. (It later transpired that they had tried to charge me $788 dollars for our $455 stay) Immediately concerned, I gave him my... More

Great location near the Empire State Building, Macy's and Herald Square. The staff is extremely friendly and goes the extra mile to serve the guests. The rooms are small but adequate; the beds are very comfortable.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
