Location great, room was clean, staff friendly. But there was no hot water when we wanted to shower last night before bed. And one of two treadmills in fitness center was out of order both mornings were were there. We've stayed at Hotel Metro (on the same block) before and that place has much more charm, character.

Rooms are small (which is the average for New York, but not particularly THIS small), staff is pleasant enough and the beds are comfy, but you can definitely do better as far as picking a place to stay, even at another Hilton family hotel.

if you want to see NYC and enjoy it walking....this is a good hotel...couple blocks from Empire State Bldg, 3 - 4 from Madison Square Garden, good area , great price. But there was not a printing solution / business center there for real work area... its only downfall

I am a heavy business traveler and have stayed in all kinds of hotels. This was a very nice, clean, comfortable hotel. The staff I mainly encountered were very friendly and very helpful. Some of the staff wasn't as friendly 1st thing in the morning, but not everyone is a morning person - which is why I didn't give 5... More

The Hampton Inn on 35th Street was a decent and comfortable stay. We stayed a week at this hotel from March 26 - April 1st. Positives: The hotel is a block away from Macy's, a 10 minute walk from Times Square, next door to a couple of bars and a few feet from 34th Street--Herald's Square subway station. The hotel... More

We stayed in this new hotel over Easter and other than the slow lifts, it was fine. It is well located to everything and we had a view of the empire state building. Desk service was excellent and breakfast was a plus.

This was my first time staying at this hotel, and it was a great find! The location was so convenient to everything "touristy" you could want to do! You are only half a block from Macy's, one from the Empire State Building, about 8 from Times Square. There were Korean, pizza and irish pub restaurants on the same block as... More

I stayed in this brand new hotel in March 2012. Work was still being done in the lobby and ground floor level, and the business center was not yet open. Despite the ongoing work, I could hear no noise in my room, which was modern and comfortable in every way. The staff was pleasant and helpful, and the location on... More

We stayed at this hotel in NYC the last week of March 2012. The room was small but very comfortable. It had everything we needed and made very good use of the space. The room was clean and very cozy, smelled great and had excellent temperature control. The staff was nice and very helpful. The free wi-fi was spotty. It... More

Pretty standard fare for a Hampton Inn with this one close to most everything in the city. Only 9 rooms per floor makes this a tall narrow hotel. The rooms are city small. . It was very clean,a little rough in spots where renovations were still taking place (the breakfast area) but nothing bad. What struck me was how polite... More
