Great price for its proximity to MSG. Hotel was clean and staff was friendly. We got late checkout (2pm) for having an AARP card. We also got 24 hr parking for $37.50 which was very handy. While we had somewhat of a view of the Empire State Building, I would not stay at this hotel for that reason--it was somewhat... More

This hotel is no-frills but perfectly situated in Midtown, ideal for business travelers. The rooms have free wifi and tons of plugs/charging stations (which I LOVED--especially the USB plugs next to the bed, ideal for international travelers who may have forgotten adapters). The king size rooms were perfect for one with everything I needed. The fitness center is small but... More

Walked in after midnight with no plan and no reservation. Next door wanted 190 for the night but the lovely Hampton Inn gave me a large 16th floor room with an awesome view of the Empire State Building for about $110! I sometimes pay near that to park in NYC overnight. Usual amazing HI beds with endless pillows which I... More

The treadmill stopped dead from lack of maintenance and nearly injured me; Internet was slow and nearly unusable. Location was great, and staff are pleasant, but they need to upgrade their Internet and maintain their treadmill.

Spent NYE in Time Square and the hotel was a great addition. It was in a great location, easy access to tourist attractions and subway. Great breakfast, staff and hotel accommodations. Would highly recommend it and stay there again.

We stayed here this past weekend. The staff were professional and friendly. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated. The room size was pretty good; a good number of hotel rooms in NYC tend to be small anyway. There's no parking on site but a parking garage is just 5-6 buildings away (a mere hop, skip and a jump for... More

I had made no plan to be staying in NY but had to. I made a reservation once I saw the rating and price at Tripadvisor. It is in a great location. Hard to locate it since their sign is not lit and is squished between Hilton and Marriott. Clean, good price ( I paid $90 for Sunday night) and... More

Great hotel--extremely clean, perfectly situated, wonderful staff, good breakfast. The only downside was the elevators--the maintenance staff seemed to hang out in them, waited for 15 minutes to get up to the 12th floor mid-day on a Saturday. But otherwise, excellent experience!

We stayed here for 4 nights and can highly recommend this hotel, all staff were helpful and courteous. Breakfast was very good considering it was complimentary. Rooms were clean and bathroom too, nice toiletries. Bed sheets were changed daily. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate available 24 hours a day.....great when you have been out all day in the cold weather.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
