Very clean rooms, great full breakfast and wonderful staff. Would most certainly stay again. Very close to all landmarks and within walking distance of Macy's if you love shopping. Two blocks from Times Square.

Great hotel 2+ blocks from Penn Station. In walking distance to Broadway shows, Rockerfella Plaza and the Empire State Building. step outside to Herald Square and Macy's Rooms were a little tight, but clean. the bathroom was a good size.

Stayed at Hampton Inn, 35th st. for an overnight. Empire State Bldg. outside our window. Adequate sized room for Manhattan. Hotel is basic...small lobby, okay sized breakfast area. Typical breakfast for Hampton-eggs, cereals, danish, yogurts. Anything you need can be found in neighborhood. Unfortunately our carpet was dirty...visible dirt. Mentioned to hotel manager and he was happy to give us... More

This hotel staff is so nice! The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast varied every day to provide a good start to our sight seeing. Even though it is in the city, very quite. I will stay here next time I am in NYC!

This hotel is in an excellent location, just steps from a subway entrance, less than a block from Macy's, and very close to Penn Station. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, the room was spotless and very quiet, which was a bonus for midtown Manhattan, and the breakfast buffet offered a nice variety. There were nice Neutrogena bath amenities,... More

Stayed from 12/12-12/14. I booked as a Hilton Honors member and ended up with a fantastic rate! The rate dropped 2 days prior to arrival by 1/2! Our room was small but lovely. Bed was comfortable, great water pressure, Neutrogena products in bath, etc. We had a street view and could see Macy's and the Empire State Building from our... More

Without a doubt one of the best things the hotel has going for it is its central location. It's only a few blocks away from 42nd street, it's almost adjacent to Harold square and there is lots to do in the area as its between Broadway and the many fancy shopping stores on Madison. But you also get some additional... More

I selected the Hampton Inn near the Empire State Building because of the location and stayed 10 nights. The staff were all extremely helpful and friendly. My time there met my expectations in every way. I would not hesitate to stay at this and other Hampton Inns again.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
