If you are looking for a cheap but clean hotel in New York: this is it!!! We stayed in a private room with a double bed. The shared bathroom was just outside our room. Both the room as the bath room were old but nice, and most important: clean. Staff was friendly. Subway and local shops are just around the... More

Honestly, we went there with a large group , had a room on the 6th floor as well as the 7th. And it was amazing, good rates, good service. A couple of the bathrooms arent so nice, but theres two on each floor. And where u share them obviously u should wear flip flops . Its a great location, the... More

Appalled at conditions - communal bathroom not amiss in a condemned building. Management made error with bookings and five people squashed into tiny room. Bathroom facilities disgusting and other persons clothing found in room - questionable cleaning practices - slept above bedding. Other visitors refused to stay and insisted on management finding them other accommodation despite it being midnight. Left... More

There is no telephone, phon, bedside table, I travel a lot, but I would never imagine that such a kind of "hotel" could exist!!!! S T A Y A... More

This hotel would be decent...in a third world country. First off, it was way over priced for one full sized bed. The room was dirty and had a cement floor with a very thin carpet. The art work was on the floor beside a mirror which was also on the floor. No soap or towels in the bathroom, no soap... More

We stayed for a few nights in New York at the Royal Park Hotel & Hostel (RPH), and it was really quite good, and much better than expected. Unfortunately, on the first night there was some problem with one of the rooms and they got us a stay at a nearby hotel (higher quality, no extra) - only thing we... More

I stayed in a standard twin room with double beds at Royal Park for 7 nights with my good friend. In nut shell: small, basic, safe, clean, hot showers, friendly and helpful staff, right by subway, bargain price. Newly refurbished rooms look very posh, almost luxurious. Would stay there again. I personally rather spend more at the shops than on... More
