We travelled to new york for 7 nights and were surprised just how close the hotel is to the subway (a 2 minute walk if that). We had a double en suite room. ok so we had a view of a brick wall but thats not why we went to new york! it was lovely and clean, and the bed... more

The bathrooms are dirty and are not cleaned well on a daily basis. The same hair and q-tip was on the floor for three days! There is only internet on the first floor so there is always people in the hallway and the entrance is crowded. The Hallways are usually strewn with litter and need to be vacuumed. The rooms... more

First things first, this is not a hotel - its a hostel. That might not be a problem for you, it wasn't for me, but it's good to be honest, no? The price of this place was so reasonable that it seems foolish to claim it was terrible, what do you expect for paying next to nothing? The rooms come... more

Ok lets be honest, you have booked a fantastic holiday to New York for Christmas and New Year, How much time do you really intend to spend in your hotel room? Well if your like me then thats the absolute minimum possible 1. for a shower and a change and 2. to get a little sleep (as you dont really... more

We reserved a room using the hotel's website. We chose ensuite with private bathroom. When we arrived, we were informed that no room with private bathroom was available for either of the nights we booked, so unless we wanted to look for a different hotel in NYC with our luggage that evening we had to accept that one with a... more

Before I begin, ignore the pictures, they must have been airbrushed as the lobby and rooms look nothing like this! I only wish I'd taken some pictures to email expedia. Lots of complaints on here about the hotel, I don't know what people expect for such a low price. We booked via expedia for a double room with shared bath... more

Manageress is so rude and arrogant with no intention to help anybody!!!! So be aware. Rooms were very very dirty, private bathroom didnt get clean once (in 8 days) as well as bedsheet didnt get change once. Maids were using lift most of the day. Corridor stank. Room was very different from what you see on their web site, dark... more

For those of you who decide to travel to New York i can only recomend not to stay in this hotel. The rooms are totally different to what you see on the pictures, without any TV or radio. We stayed in double double ensuite and it was a real disaster. Hall was stinking most of the time, elevator was used... more

I went to New York a couple of weeks ago as a party of 5 adults and my baby son (1 yr old) . We booked this hotel via hostelbookers.com for ensuite rooms with double beds (1 double, 1 double-double) for about $100 a night per room - so quite cheap - HOWEVER that does not include tax (add about... more

We stayed in a double room in the roal park hotel. the room was freezing cold, we had to sleep in hoodies and ask for extra blankets. The room was also tiny, literally just a double bed and a bed side table but the bed was comfy and we were there to see the city so other than sleeping we... more
