I don't care being in cheap places. Mostly I'm willing to pay the price of not being in a 5-star-hotel. But this was too much: * I've found mouse in my room * The room was very small. As a result, everything was small: the bed (it was too small for me, and I'm only 1.73m / 5'8"), the sink... More

My friend and I stayed there for 2 nights and we had a pleasant stay. We were given a very small room with bunk beds on the 4th floor and went back and asked if we could get a different room with seperate beds and they did. They did their best to accomodate us! The staff were really nice and... More

The royal park is located in a fantastic area 2 mins from the subway was express 2 or 3 trains running to time square taking about 8mins. The front of desk staff were helpful and cheery. We had a room with an on suite which was clean and tidy. The room was very small but as we had large suitcases... More

We were nervous of this place after reading the reviews but we were wrong to worry. The staff were helpful, the room was really nice with a flat TV & 2 double beds. They clean the room each day and the heating is HOT!. Down side... yes there are only 2 bathrooms per floor but this is a hotel-hostel... if... More

This small hotel is just what you need in New York. Nice, decent, clean and affordable accommodation. Staff is extremely friendly and will do everything to make your stay even better. If you are looking for a hotel that will treat you as a human not the number from your credit card than this is the one for you.

New York is expensive so we where after a budget place and knew that would come at some compromise.Room was tiny-we have backpacks and still struggled to navigate the room with our stuff as tidy as we could get it. Holes in floor and ceiling in the wardrobes and around the hot water pipes causing a lot of noise to... More

We stayed in the hotel for 4 nights in end of February. Had room with private bathroom. Room was clean and warm, since it was -15 C outside! Only thing we were missing was warmer bathroom.
