I stayed here in December to spend the holidays with my family. I had a shared room, at first I was a little skeptical about that but I was VERY impressed. The room was very clean and the bathroom was kept very clean at all times. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The location is also very good, there's... More

Hello, Myself and the entire staff here at the Royal Park Hotel want to thank you for your review. We make every effort to put our guest first and make this hotel a home away from home atmosphere. I would like to offer you special manager rates next time you are in New York City. Just give me a call... More

Booked this hotel over Christmas and was horribly disappointed. Our room consisted of a bed with about 30 cm space between the sides of the bed and the walls. There was barely enough space to put a suitcase on the ground. There are 2 bathrooms per floor, consisting of one shower and toilet, shared between about 10-15 rooms. We stayed... More

We took 2 rooms in this hotel, we were a party of 5, when we booked we saw that the rooms had -shared bathroom-, so we though that both rooms were connected, but when we arrived we saw that there were only 2 bathrooms for each floor. Two of us stayed in a very small and very depressing room that... More

Our experience here was just awful. We first arrived and were given our room key to find two beds no wardrobe just 2 drawers. How can they expect max 4. People to stay in a room that has 2 drawers and no storage space? Then we realised the window seemed broken with a huge draft and there was a plug... More

The room me and my 2 friends were allocated had no draws, wardrobes or any form of storage. The boiler made a horrific noise 4+ times throughout the night waking us uo each time; the hotel staff that happend in every room & nothing could be done! The window let in a draft and we were joined by a few... More

Upon arrival after a long flight we waited twenty minutes before anyone appeared to check us in, the chap was then rude and said we couldn't of waited that long as he'd only had a quick shower ! We stayed in a tiny double room on the second floor next to bathroom. The room smelt and felt damp and our... More

I'll really recommend this hotel. The staff is attentive, just one block from subway and 4 blocks from Central Park. When I back to New York City, I'll be hosted here again, for sure! And the manager kept my online orders. This was great too!

We had a room for 2 with a separate bathroom on 3rd floor with our windows to the 97th St. We did not have absolutely any problem with our room and we stayed there for 12 days. No Cockroaches or other animals, no mold anywhere - everything was clean for our whole stay there. We had the ceiling fan and... More

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel, particularly since it has mixed reviews. We only spent 1 night but we got a private bath and the room was nice. Clean, updated decor and giant shower with plenty of hot water. I've stayed at many hotels on the upper west side and this one is average to above average for the... More

I/we have been backpacking across America over the last 5 weeks so our standards aren't the highest but this had definitely been the worst experience we have had! Cockroaches, stains on the sheets, stains on the towels, hairs in our bed, terrible facilities. When we informed the staff we had seen cockroaches in our room they didn't seem surprised, we... More
