I came to the DoubleTree to spend one night. When I entered the hotel, I realized I had left my phone in the cab I had just gotten out of. A solid 3 minutes had passed. The employee who I was talking to, Richard, immediately sprinted out the door, down the street, and around the corner. I have never seen... More

I stayed here for business in April. The hotel was cheaper than the rest but being a Doubletree I went for it. The staff were very good and courteous and this could not be faulted. The location is also very close to Penn Station and there are good local amenities. I was given free WiFi, which is always much appreciated.... More

Have been coming to the property for many years and only stay here when we come to NYC. Service and rooms were always top notch BUT....only one bright light sadly remains after all these years....Daniel at the front desk. Funny and cheerful we have come to know him well after our many stays. Hilton has at least done one thing... More

This is a new property a very few blocks away from Pennsylvania Railroad Station and the Port Authority bus terminal and very near Macy's and the 34 th street stores and the Empire State Building. It is in the old garment district and the immediate buildings are all high rises. We had the 24 th floor but the view was... More

This is my second time staying at this hotel and I loved it. The room is a little small but serves it purpose. It was clean, bed comfortable and very close to Penn Station, Madison Square Garden, Times Square and The Macys on 34th st. I would definitely recommend this hotel. The only con was that there was only one... More

No issues at all. Excellent service from front desk personnel. Hotel is walking distance to MSG, theater district. Great room. Great breakfast. Room was small but that was fine - we were only in the hotel to sleep!

The rooms are comfortable but typical NY size - i.e. small The place could do with another elevator, and the system for breakfast service needs to be changed to deal with busy holidays. But the staff on the front desk, the Conceirge and the Bell boys are so freindly and helpful that they made it a pleasure to stay there.... More

I'm only rating it a three because it's kind of no frills, but works for a quick visit. Don't get me wrong, I love a Doubletree! Warm cookies!!! This hotel is in a good location... a quiet-ish street away from the chaos of Time Square but still near the heart of it. Rooms are small but that's pretty common for... More

I stayed here for 21 nights whilst working at the New York Auto Show, the hotel was an 8 min walk from the show which made the location ideal. The staff were amazingly friendly and the rooms were fine and very clean. I would recommend this hotel.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
