Easy and friendly check in after having to wait for 90 minutes at JFK customs (doh - "easter kind of took us by surprise with all these people travelling"....) And its made more confusing because there is a Double Tree Times Square (e.g., drop the "south"). You're really at 36th street/9th avenue, which is 2 long avenues and 5 blocks away from Times Square. This hotel is well located as soon as you can get out of the neighborhood which is ugly, and noisy with traffic and roadwork.
