Loved my stay at The Standard East Village. As you'd expect, the hotel attracts a young, hip crowd and the experience and service was on-point throughout my stay. Rooms were comfortable with great views and the restaurant and bar had an incredible atmosphere and service. Very good value as well; I will be returning to stay again.

Worth it just for the bed, amazingly comfortable. Small rooms with great views. Kind of no frills room but who needs it when you have NYC on your doorstep. Great restaurant, service was friendly and location was superb. Great vibe in the evenings.

Stayed there for a local conference. Rooms are cute but small. About 8-10 rooms per floor. Different rooms are slightly different sizes, so you might want to try and get a larger room if possible. Showers have liquid soap and shampoo instead of individual bars/bottles. The view from the higher floors is fantastic. Bed was very comfortable and the room... More

Service is awful. I tried to have a package shipped to me as a guest to this hotel three times and the hotel staff lost it. The front desk staff were not outright rude, but they were indifferent and didn't seem to care when I asked for help. Also, they were not able to get us a dinner reservation at... More

The Standard East Village is a relatively new and fairly small hotel. But it has a yuothful style and charm about it. The restaurant and bar has great service and a 24 hour buzz about it. Yet at no time did that disturb my sleep. From check-in to check-out the staff was accomodating beyond what can be blamed on the... More

Such a wonderful hotel, stylish rooms, lovely views, great staff (very friendly and professional), fantastic value for money, lively atmosphere, close to all the best NY places and all in all an unforgettable stay! I will definitely be back!

Stayed 3 nights with my teenage daughter in a Standard Double. Room and view was fabulous. Comfortable beds, plenty of clean towels and nice boutique hotel feel. Had room service a couple of times and was brought up with minimal wait. Had drinks downstairs and staff organised a table for us without a booking - priority given to hotel guests... More

The hotel has clean and new rooms, but even more important, for a reasonable NYC price. The staff could not be more friendly and helpful. As a hotel guest you have access to a wonderful courtyard and a work-out facility across the street. I highly recommend the hotel and its location in Cooper Square near NYU.

I spent 4 nights at the Standard for my Birthday celebration, everything was perfect! from the cool young staff members, the breathtaking views overlooking Manhattan, the unique design of the property, spectacular drinks at the bar and of course the impeccable Dinner at Narcissa.
