Stayed at The Standard while enrolling granddaughter in Cooper Union's School of Fine Art. Great hotel. Room was bright, well detailed and fantastic view of city. Great bed!! The staff is friendly, excited that you are a guest and treats you like part of the family. Can't say enough about the staff. The dining room, Narcissa, is excellent, with an... More

This hotel does everything right, with rooms bright and clean, great views, and bathroom floors that are heated! A charming cafe, which spills out onto the sidewalk, is lively. The drinks are creative and the food delicious. The hotel's young staff is warm and friendly. Jenna was a perfect delight throughout our 2-day stay.

My husband and I had a great experience the first time we stayed at this hotel. We decided to return and try it again and are so glad we did. The restaurant is now open, so no more free brunch, but we tried and enjoyed brunch at the cafe. All in all, a great experience. Terrific location, lovely garden, helpful... More

I just got back from NYC from a business trip. Often go there but stayed at the Standard in East Village for the first time. It was highly recommended by my collegues who also travel to NYC quite a bit. The hotel exceeded my expectations in terms of service, location, food and just the whole vibe was very young, very... Heading to JFK after my 4th stay at The Standard East Village. I cannot say enough. The rooms are wonderful, views excellent, food and drink outstanding, but what stands out to me more than anything are the absolutely incredible staff. Coming to The Standard is like coming home; they genuinely care and go above and beyond to create a personalized... More

We got a room on the 17th floor, everything was in good, modern style and clean. Great view over Manhattan. The subway is just a block away, restazrants closeby and the gym on the other side of the street had more equipment that you could ever train on. Staff was feiendly and helpful. They ask a security fee and the... More

The hotel is great, much nicer than Highline one in NYC. For a Standard, rooms are quite nice, nice furtnitures. No gym but free access to the one nextdoor The location is great, easy access to all cool areas downtown.

My husband and I stayed at the Standard East Village recently, and our time there was wonderful. We loved the location, and the hotel itself lives up to its name. Moreover, the staff was not only accomodating, they were also genuinely helpful and attentive and seem to enjoy being a part of the whole Standard experience (which makes a real... More

Stayed here for one night after a big day in NYC. The room itself was great for exactly this sort of thing. I had a solid, but not excellent view, and there was space, but I wouldn't call it spacious. The bed was absolutely glorious, and the linens/pillows were equally enjoyable. Bathroom as well was well-appointed (not gratuitously so), but... More

Loved my stay at The Standard East Village. As you'd expect, the hotel attracts a young, hip crowd and the experience and service was on-point throughout my stay. Rooms were comfortable with great views and the restaurant and bar had an incredible atmosphere and service. Very good value as well; I will be returning to stay again.
