I assume the prices are a bit high, but then again it's NY and what you get is amazing. The location is the best you can hope for, the dorrmen are super friendly and the apartments are awesome. If I could, I would stay here again.

It's really hard to find a three month rental in Manhattan. Chelsmore gave us a spacious apartment in a great location with nice furniture. It's so great to have a real apartment with a kitchen so you don't always have to eat out at restaurants. My mom is super fussy about cleanliness and she was very pleased. The staff is... More

our apartment had 1 double bed and 2 twin beds. it was clean, not too fancy, with a kitchen that you can use to cook - so that was pretty nice the location is great- you can get to the main attractions easily don't expect hotel mentality because it's not a hotel- it's an apartment building and it gives all... VERY close to subways and grocery store. Wonderful and kind staff. It IS a bit rundown BUT I had no bugs, no vermin and it was relatively clean. The bed was also decent and the apartment was very quiet. The other long term tenants were all friendly. I was there 2 months with my 5 year old daughter and I... More

I stayed here for 6 months and would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a clean, reasonably priced short-term apartment in a prime NYC spot. Very close to most subway lines, shopping and entertainment. The place is original - solid walls, very antique (perhaps too antique?) furniture, and large size rooms. Staff are professional and accommodating. Would definitely stay... More

In the second... More

Had the opportunity to spend a month in the Big Apple. The Chelsmore apartments were not a five star hotel but very adequate and extremely budget friendly. Very conveniently located to the subway, a wonderful grocery store and lots of restaurants. We will be staying there again in the summer of 2011. Can't wait.

I stayed in Chelsmore apts for ten days. I travelled to New York with my boyfriend, we are both in our twenties-thirties and it was the best place ever. A non renovated studio apartment is 130 dollars a night, a reasonable price for Chelsea. The location was great, only a few blocks from Union Square and all the big stores... More
