Dispel the negative reviews, which are perhaps not new, we have found: - excellent location near metro and buses, on Broadway with many restaurants where you can eat, from the cheapest to the most exclusive - good value for money - rooms cleaned every day - air conditioning and TV - available wireless connection - internet available - comfortable furnishings... more

Didn't what to expect when I booked my stay at the Hotel Marrakech - in fact I had heard some not too great things prior to my visit. However after my weekend visit I will stay there again. The hotel/rooms were clean, staff polite and helpful, location was great, plenty of places to eat, subway a block away. The rooms... more

This is an affordable place for a short stay in the city. We had one of the smaller rooms, so i can't say if the bigger rooms are any better. The room was literaly a bed & 2 nightstands & a small bathroom and yes a brickwall view outside the window.. Even still for what we needed this worked fine.... more

This hotel was perfect for my teenaged daughter and I for several reasons. First the price was fantastic. Secondly I read in advance and was prepared to get some exercise on the stairs. I even asked for a room high up as I know they tend to have less noise. Our double bed room was actually surprisingly large (room 866-... more

We stayed at this hotel for 7 nights- perfect! There was some noise from the street to the room at night but what do you expect in the centre of Manhattan. The hotel is right next to the subway station by which you can get to time square easily on the red line (head downtown to 42nd st then to... more

I stayed here for 5 nights in May with my sister. From the minute we arrived the staff were very friendly and helpful, there is no elavator which isn't really a problem as the concierge help you up with bags if needed, the lounge area was great - very well decorated and clean. We were right at the back of... more

My husband and I stayed in this hotel a few weeks ago during our week long stay in NYC. We were looking for something affordable but clean and on a good location. The hotel is in the residential part of the upper west side and in close proximity to the Columbia Uni so the "young" vibe is all around:) What... more

This is not the best hotel I have stayed at but - this is New York! And if you spend little (or no time) in your room... this is perfect. The rooms are tiny. We had a queen bed and a window with no view (well... a brick wall that u could touch...) the walls are thin but we got... more

I'm writing this review based on three days in a single bedroom w/ Queen bed. My wife and I booked this over the internet, based on the reviews we read. We were extremely disappointed! We got there with two suitcases of luggage and had to haul it up a long flight of stairs to get to the lobby. This isn't... more
