Having stayed at Sanderson and St Martins Lane in London which is part of the same group, we were looking forward to this visit. Bit of a shaky start at check in (reservations team weren't best informed or relaying issues) but overall pleasant stay. The towels were changed daily (without us asking,) we did however have to call housekeeping to... More

Thank you for your review. Just to clarify - our Environmental Policy is that we do not change out linens automatically unless the guest indicates that they would like us to do so. If you left your towels on the ground, we would change them automatically. If you did not leave the Environmental Card on the bed, we would not... More

This is a lovely little hotel tucked away on Madison Avenue out of all the hustle and bustle of Times Square / Fifth Ave but so close to everything still to be able to get to all the big sights easy. The décor is nice and modern, beds comfy and staff wonderful, helpful and always available. Rooms are a decent... More

Nice service, great breakfast, place to feel comfortable. Rooms are not very big, unfortunately also no view, but nicely decorated. Excellent location in the heart of mid-town. Walking distance to metro 5 min xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I organised to stay here for 3 nights - years ago this was a chic boutique hotel with a cool bar/restaurant (Asia de Cuba) but now it would take a lot of renovation and staff training to even be a serviced corporate apartment building which is what it closest to in its current incarnation. With no room service, no vacuumed... More

I am so sorry that you did not have a good stay. Morgans is not for everyone out there but I assure you, we vacuum several times a day! Yes, Asia de Cuba is gone but in its' place is Reserve. It is not a restaurant but a lovely Lounge. As the years passed, we have found that visitors prefer... More

We stayed at Morgans on Madison Avenue for five days, between 19th and 24th December. We LOVE New York and the location of this hotel is perfect for both up and downtown sight seeing. We booked a long weekend trip to NY and took full advantage of the offerings. We were only in our hotel room for maybe 5 hours a night as we were out at the numerous attractions/sights. The Morgan Hotel was somewhat strange initially (no street sign on the front), but once we found it we were satisfied. The staff was... More

This hotel is the right amount of luxury and simplicity. The rooms are well equipped with comfortable beds, nice floor plan, and high quality bathroom accompaniments. The rooms are a good size for NYC, and the hotel is in a good location for the popular Manhattan attractions. We would stay here again.

I have stayed in many NYC hotels, and it's rare to find a hotel that has good size rooms, with good location, good breakfast, and good service. The Morgan is one of those hotels. whilst the lobby area is very small, the hotel makes up for it in other areas. you can walk to everywhere from here, and it's quiet... More

It's all about quality, isn't it! Your review says it all in one small paragraph! Although our Lobby is elegant, it is not grand but it will make you feel like you are a true New Yorker! It feels like a private residence and that is our goal. Thank you for writing and Happy Holidays! Regards, DR More

Loved this small boutique hotel in a very convenient location. The room was spacious for New York City, the bathroom though small was very well equipped and well thought out. The rain showerhead added a touch of luxury. The continental breakfast has many choice and excellent coffee. Service was friendly and efficient. Because of the location we were able to... More

Good coffee!!! That is so important. Years ago, American coffee was a pretty weak and not so tasty concoction. I am so happy that changed! A good strong cup o' joe (as we say in New Yawk) is the way to start one's day. Nothing wrong with tea either! Thank you for your kind review and hope to see you... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
