We had 4 days in NYC. Morgans made it the best ever. We will return. From the elegant continental breakfast with the New York Times, to the live orchids in the lobby. We enjoyed the Morgan Library next door and excellent restaurants all around.

It is amazing that I just posted a response to a guest who claimed there are no restaurants in the area! Oh well. Thank you for setting the record straight and thank you for your kind review! Regards, DR More

Booked this hotel as part of a once in a lifetime trip with my 16 year old daughter. We were thrilled. It is super convenient for Empire State, Macys etc. In mid town so practically anywhere is accessible on foot. An exciting, swish place to stay.

Standard Doubleroom without windows not really amazing, junior suite was fine! Nice and friendly, clean and comfortable! Because of street works in front of the hotel we had one really bad sleepless night, but this is not the hotels responsibility. For us the hotel is perfect located close to Empire State Building and Grand Central Station.

Gosh - there is not a single room without a window on property so I am not sure what you may be referring to. I am happy however that it all worked out well and you enjoyed your stay. Hope to see you again soon! Regards, DR More

I stayed in the one bedroom suite with my daughter & two grandchildren and the whole experience was wonderful. Staff was uniformly helpful and pleasant; the suite was spacious, clean, well set-up, and comfortable (and easily accommodated all of us in the two rooms). I- or we, as the case may be, will definitely return.

And we look forward to welcoming you and your family back! Families like it here because it is low key and feels like a residence rather than a hotel - and of course the location is a bonus! Also, the complimentary breakfast and free WIFI really provide value when traveling with a group! See you soon hopefully! DR More

We spent 6 nights at the hotel end of march and really loved it! The location is great for discovering the city. It is close to all important sights; Soho, Meatpacking, Chelsea, etc can also be reached easily and there are several subway stations in walking distance. We really liked the design of the room and the whole hotel. The... More

No signs to show there is a hotel there, but with the right address we found it easily anyway. Quick check-in (prepaid room), we ot a good deal on a superior so the room was a good size for the thrre of us. The bath was fairly small but worked out. Well equipped room (minibar, iron and ironing-board, adapter, umbrella,... More

Thank you for your review! I think the bed bug issue in NYC was highly exaggerated and over rated as well! The media blowed it out of proportion. We have not experienced this at all at Morgans. Thank goodness! The hotel is indeed discreet and that is the way it is meant to be. We do not have any flags,... More

We have enjoyed 2 stays at Morgan's over the past month. For our longer 10 day visit we stayed in a loft room which was huge by NY standard and gave us plenty of room for our 2 year old to spread her wings. The hotel is in a fantastic location with a short walk to Macy's, 5th Ave, Times... More

Good place to stay in New York. Close to everything in midtown. The staff is excellent. The rooms are small and the bathrooms are really small but everything is clean and upto date. There are many very good restaurants close by, I strongly suggest Wolfgangs and the Toledo

my wife and I stayed here for 4 nights in March 2015 in our first visit to the Big Apple. The hotel is situated in an outstanding location close to everything except for the noise! Thank you for your review! I am so happy you enjoyed your stay with us. Sorry about the noise - there were a few nights when the Gas and Electric company did some work along Madison Avenue but they are now winding down. Our new windows helped in most cases so there were only a few guests affected by it.... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
