A coworker had recommended this chain of hotels when I told her I was going into city for a girls weekend of theater, shopping and eating. This hotel has turned out to be a great find in the city! We booked a mini suite which had a king bed and pull out sofa but also sliding doors for privacy. The... More

I must admit that being the number one hotel in NY in Tripadvisor is a huge accomplishment and I must admit also that the only reason that made me stay at Casablanca was because it is so much appraised by our community. Once there I was astonished by the tiny reception , bearing two small metal sofas that wont fit... More

We stayed at the Casablanca for 5 nights, coming in on a Wed afternoon and leaving on a Monday morning. Each time we came back from a wonderful day exploring NYC or seeing a fabulous play, we were always welcomed with smiles and great service. In fact from the moment we came into the hotel on arrival the service stood... More

We stayed in a basic cozy comfort room. It had an interior window not meant for a view but who needs it when you can walk down the hall and relax /snack in Rick's cafe. Our room was clean and perfect for a 2 day trip. Each member of the hotel staff was friendly, engaging, and accomodating. Times Square is... More

My husband and I stayed yet again at our favorite NYC hotel, a birthday present for me (along with tickets to Godspell). Our stay was everything we wanted it to be. As I am a vegan, my husband asked ahead of time for soy milk at breakfast, and synthetic pillows for our bed. Great pillows, and Lily (love her) had... More

I got caught by their website, but reality is very much different! Room on the first floor, window facing a wall with stair case, very dark, very noisy AC, decoration very old! TOOOO expensive! Hilton Times square nearby 100 times better.. More

Dear Dohan68, I am so sorry that your experience at our unique hotel was not to your liking. We have a very distinctive, somewhat rustic style which is not at all contemporary. As you see from our comments, our fans appreciate that we simply strive to have a cozy, warm, and spotlessly clean, home away from home with a touch... More

Normally the above would be enough for me to dislike a hotel intensely but the standard of service from the front desk, housekeeping and especially the girls looking after Rick's Cafe almost made up for the fact we had to sleep with airplugs and pillows over our heads. There was machinery directly outside our window that could be heard as... More

Dear DebOz, The hostesses in Rick’s Café, along with the full staff of the hotel are delighted they were able to make you happy despite the obstacles you described. We are surrounded by restaurants here in Times Square and one of them is a particularly popular spot for Barbeque. The people at Virgil’s are always working with us to try... More

Took my daughter and granddaughter for my granddaughter's first trip to New York. Location was perfect for her! Comfortable rooms, and the morning and afternoon treats were not only plentiful and good, but a lovely way to connect with other guests. But most of all, the staff is the most friendly and helpful I have ever encountered. Absolutely recommend this... More

This is the fifth year we have stayed at the Casablanca vs staying at the Marriott Marquis. I come into town for a meeting at the Marriott but I find the experience at the Casablanca far superior. The staff is very helpful on my business requirements and the breakfast in the am and wine and chesse in the pm help... More

This was our first time to New York, having dreamed about visiting for years! We chose this hotel for its location and its #1 status on Tripadvisor, we weren't disappointed. The location is better than we had ever wished for. Its perfect for Times Square but we also walked to the Empire State building, Rockefeller and to Central Park. It's... More
