This is a great hotel and one I thoroughly recommend. It's located just off Times Square which makes it ideal for main sightseeing. The hotel is themed on the film Casablanca and is cosy and homely. Free breakfast, all day hot drinks and pastries and evening cheese and wine is a bonus. It's got an old world character but all... More

Lovely quiet comfortable and friendly hotel in a superb central location. Hotel staff were all excellent. Great facility having the café for a peaceful break (and refreshments) in the day/early evening prior to venturing out again!

Great stay; only wish I had more time to explore this lovely hotel. Take this review in context - I would never normally stay in a hotel like this, It's way out of my budget, so you can imagine my delight when I was placed here for a business trip. Impressed with interior, service, room and food (buffet breakfast very... More

Casablanca is a quaint boutique with character, continental breakfast was a bonus...to be honest thought it was a little overpriced really, couldn't swing a mouse in the bathroom! Lovely but will stay back at Doubletree where its more spacious and amazing views for less money...but have to stay staff were super friendly :)

We just completed another enjoyable stay at Casablanca. The staff was terrific and the hotel was fantastic. We will definitely stay at the Casablanca again. We had a suite which suited are needs perfectly. The hotel is in a perfect location for Times Square and the Theater District. It is just far enough away from Times Square to avoid the... More

Casablanca hotel is perfectly situated right in the heart of Times Square, bang in the middle of Manhattan, so even if you want to avoid the tourist trap, you are still equidistant from every point of the island. The hotel itself has a small boutique hotel charm, staff friendly, accommodations warm, homely and pleasantly decorated. Great lounge for happy hour... More

This is our second stay at the Casablanca on successive trips to New York. The hotel provides excellent accommodations, plus very welcome additional "extras." Furthermore, every member of staff is extremely pleasant and helpful; the importance of the "customer experience" is clearly a priority of the hotel's management, and this is apparent in the approach shown by all the staff.... The Casablanca was a fabulous find. An amazing location - a calm oasis amongst the buzz of Times Square. The staff are great and the complimentary buffet was a real benefit. We popped back to the hotel a couple of times during the day, just to change or grab a coffee and a danish pastry. It was so convenient. Would... More

Have stayed here numerous times in past. It is a wonderful boutique style with theme from the movie. We originally spotted it because of the parrot logo. I ha e learned that relates to the movie to a bar known as blue parrot. It will likely be a plus to many and for those it will be five stars perhaps... More

This has to be one of the best smaller hotels in NYC! It is super clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were great. The bed was very comfortable, with everything you could possibly need in your room.. The breakfast was good, and they have a Italian Resturaunt to eat in. Times Square is right there. If... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
