This was my second stay in the Fitzpatrick and I will come back. Rooms are of decent size, bathrooms are in marble, and beds are comfortable. Plus, it does not have bedbugs which is a bit of a problem in Gotham city. The Service is superb and the close location to Central Park allows me to go for a run... More

To celebrate our twentieth wedding anniversary my wife and I spent a long weekend in New York. We had heard much about Fitzpatrick's and were eager to check it out. I travel extensively with my work and can compare this hotel against many others around the globe. I don't post reviews as a rule but feel on this occasion that... More

I would definitely not rate this hotel as 4 star. Reception area dull but staff nice. Bar red and black and dull. Carpet in bedroom all stained plus sink in bathroom cracked. However the beds were very comfortable as most beds in Manhatten hotels are - there was a hole in the bottom sheet. The whole place needs updating. I... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
