This is the third/fourth time we have stayed in Fitzpatrick's Manhattan and each time we have had a wonderful experience, from booking through to departure. The staff are top class: totally professional and always go to great lengths to help us plan our activities/eating/adventures around the city. This time round we were delighted to have the wonderful assistance of a newcomer... More

Aside from a very helpful waitress and the housekeeping staff, we were highly disappointed in the level of personal service. In particular, the Irish guy at reception was arrogant and very unhelpful when we asked for local advice. Also, we witnessed him having a dispute with a member of staff, and bad mouthing another customer. This was very unprofessional and... More

Pros: Location, staff, layout of rooms (we had a 1 BR suite), robes, slippers, toiletries, quiet Cons: Pillows were hard (one's head wouldn't even make an impression in them), room wasn't cool enough and this was centrally controlled (we asked for a fan which never arrived), there were 3 of us in the room and only 2 sets of towels,... My third stay here and I come back because of the location of staff. Just 3 blocks from the park (57th and Lex), right in the heart of great shopping, dining and more. 2 mins from Bloomies. Staff are very helpful and knowledgable. Rooms are classically furnished, but of good quality. It's an Irish hotel with lots of Irish themes... More

We spent 4 nights in this hotel. We were upgraded to a suite for 2 nights which was great. Both rooms were very quiet. Service was excellent and very friendly. Everybody was very helpful. Location was perfect as near subway and taxis are plentyful and affordable to many places of interest. The only 2 things that stop it from being... More

We were originally thinking of staying outside of the city to reduce the overall cost of our trip, but on a recommendation for this hotel we weighed up the options and were thrilled we decided to stay here. We are a family of four and wanted a room with two double beds, so when we made enquiries we were offered... More

My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights last week - we found the hotel to be very comfortable!! The location of the hotel is fantastic, it's beside Bloomingdales and a short walk from 5 th avenue and Central Park . The staff were friendly, attentive and informative particularly Leo and Ana- we both felt very relaxed in the... More

Stayed here with our two teens and splurged on a suite with adjoining room so that everyone could enjoy a little extra space. The rooms in this hotel are unusually spacious for a NYC property. The hotel is ideally located for walking to nicer shopping areas, subway and Central Park. The staff is exceptional, helpful, welcoming and truly added polish... More

The best thing about the hotel is the staff. I have travelled a lot but the staff at Fitzpatricks are unlike any I have encountered. They are as expected professional and courteous but they go beyond this. The advice given is not generic but tailored to you, they are interested in providing you with the best experience not only of... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
