We spent 12 nights in this hotel( Sat 30 Aug to Sept 10). We booked on their website. The room we got was great; 2 big double beds and plenty of space but there was a generator on the street or somewhere, we could not sleep, even after a transatlantic flight form Dublin. We were moved to a really quiet... More

We stayed here for my 40th birthday. Our first time in New York and We had a great stay here. Now my best city I've been too. We arrived late around 11.45pm but were greeted warmly after signing in we were taken up to out room. We stayed on the 6th floor in the front of the building. The room... More

Stayed here in November, we arrived on my birthday and the Hotel upgraded us and we had a bottle of fizz waiting in our room. All the staff were great, really helpful and lovely. The room was great with really good facilities and the cleaner kept the coffee supplies plentiful and the room spotless. The hotel is in a fantastic... More

This hotel is located ideally for seeing the sites. From the moment we arrived the friendly staff could not be faulted for excellent customer service, if it was assisting with directions or recommending places to eat, nothing was too much trouble. We were in New York to celebrate our 50th birthdays and the hotel was a massive part of the... More

Great location, excellent service and nice room (double deluxe). Stayed for 3 nights and had a very good experience. Pity there is no breakfast included in the room rate but there are many diners in the area for reasonably priced offsite food. The staff are excellent and very welcoming - from the front desk to the cleaners. On the negative... More

I have stayed in this hotel several times over the last year on business as my head office is a stone's throw away. The staff are friendly and efficient and always willing to help with any requests. The rooms need updating (no mini bar or even a bottle of water) but are clean and spacious and have a comfortable bed.... More

This hotel was solidly just OK, particularly for the price. The lobby is small and a little untidy. The room I was in on the fifth floor was quite noisy and had no view. The room itself was reasonably sized for Manhattan. The bed was extremely comfortable. The shower took a long time to heat up and there is no... More

Very good location in the Midtown area. Very good price for this area if you need a suite that holds a family. Attention to detail is lacking. Rooms need updating. If you want a quite room don't stay at this hotel- windows must be paper thin. Friendly service if you ask for something. I noticed no door man most of... More

Interesting place - so many Irish voices to be heard! Room was very spacious but could do with a few simple changes. Better pillows for a start. Not even a bottle of water to drink?? At that price you should do better. One more BIG failing - $14.95 for WiFi room access?? Really - come on now that is simply... More

I stayed in NYC for three days and the Fitzpatrick was a perfect location. One subway stop from GCS and Penn. Near great restaurants and shopping. The hotel was lovely. I stayed with my daughter in a 1 bedroom suite and we had plenty of room. Marble bathroom! Great hospitality in the lobby. Will be back soon.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
