My wife and I have been visiting this hotel (from Ireland) on an annual holiday basis for many years now. This is truly our "home from home". Excellent friendly and attentive staff - nothing is too much trouble. Remembered on each occasion and warmly welcomed. Fabulous rooms and suites. Great Mid Town location and comfortably within walking distance of Central... More

We stayed here for our anniversary weekend in NYC recently. The staff could not be friendlier or more helpful. While the hotel isn't new, the updates are tasteful and the room is spotless. We were upgraded to a suite upon arrival and had two lovely and comfortable rooms. We had requested a quiet room as we don't sleep soundly, and... More

This hotel is just like a home away from home , but only better with such helpful and friendly staff to attend to your every need. The bedroom was very well appointed to a 5 star standard but at a 4 star price. The hotel is well located in Manhatten, with several great restaurants close by. One to try is... More

A friend and I we traveling on business and we stayed at the Fitzpatrick. The hotel was charming and elegant. The front desk staff was eager to help us check in. The valet staff were friendly and helped us navigate the traffic that is New York City. The rooms were small but well appointed and comfortable. The overall feel of... More

Excellent location. The suite was ok in terms of size, but needs to be renovated: a liitle shabby. The concierge: so so. Depends who is on duty. Some are very good, others obviously do not know what a concierge is. Special mention to the bell boys:they are really good and helpful. Breakfast plentiful ang good.

Had a lovey trip here that was business and pleasure. A very small, but cute and clean room with an excellent bed. Nice location with easy access to subway.

We stayed on a Friday night in April when NYC was quite busy and my usual places were booked. This is a very nicely maintained and equipped hotel, European in feel, on the edge of the very tony (and expensive) East Side. The room was lovely - newly decorated; the bathroom clean, shiny, marble-y and posh (no plug for the... More

My husband and I took our two boys age, 9 +13, into NYC for a weekend. I booked this hotel thru Hotels.com and could not have been happier! fantastic location.the hotel could be a real jewel if the rooms were more fresh. the staff: irregular... some are very good - real concierges - , others have not been briefed on what guests expect from hotel staff. one mention: the bell boys are excellent, helpful and knowlegable. the breakfast is good and generous. I shall come back to this... More
