We stayed here in Early April. The hotel is very conveniently located near Central Park, Bloomingdales and 5th Ave is only a 10 min walk away. The rooms are very small but the bed is very comfy. I wouldn't be mad about the bar downstairs and do think it is a bit weird that the owner has zillions of pics... More

Mr S here. My daughter ( early 20s) and I were booked into the Fitzpatrick for three nights starting June 1st. Today I have been advised that although we requested two beds in the room when booking ( and paying) the Fitzpatrick want another £459 ( yes £459) for our three nights. Mrs S and I have stayed in many... More

We stayed here for 4 nights in February while on route to a Carribbean cruise; since we were flying into New York anyway we thought it would be a good chance to see the city. Despite being in the middle of freezing weather conditions the hotel fitted our needs perfectly for seeing around the city. The hotel is well located... More

The hotel is a 10 to 15 minute walk from the theater district and on a quiet street away from the madness of Time Square. It is also only a block from Grand Central Station. The room was comfortable and adove average in size for NY. The staff was accommodating, didn't care for the dungeon like pub.

Stayed here for 3 nights in April - great location (2 blocks from Bloomies) and small but very quiet rooms. Love the bathrobes too! Some hiccups with late check out request, but manager was very apologetic and did great customer service turnaround. Adjacent restaurant service was slower than molasses but I believe it is not owned by hotel...

What an experience ! Our first trip to NYC and on recommendation, we stayed at the Fitzpatrick Manhattan. It's within a short walk of a subway station and an easy walk to some of the attractions everyone needs to visit. The staff are nothing short of brilliant and were so helpful. The cleanliness of the rooms (we had two spells... More

We stayed in a suite for three nights on a short weekend trip. Our room was very spacious & very comfortable. The staff were very helpful & friendly. We enjoyed the bar area which served tasty snacks & appetisers. I would stay in this hotel again when I come back to New York.

It's a quiet hotel and a small one too, but has everything that one requires on a business trip. It has wifi in the room, very nice spotless rooms with round the clock room service. A small restaurant on the ground floor also serves as bar in the evening. Because of being on business trip I just was having breakfasts... More

I stayed at this hotel three times from February to early April as I was in transition and moving from the city. The first time I stayed there in mid February, New York was in the midst of one of its coldest winters ever. My room was so hot that I had to open the windows. The maintenance staff said... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
