We spent 6 nights here in Dec as part of our honeymoon and from check in to check out we were treated like first class guests!!!! We have stayed in the Fitzpatrick a few times and I love how the staff always make such a point of getting to know your name and always greet you when you come in... More

I stayed two nights last year while in town for a job interview (I got the job, BTW!) The staff could not have been more friendly and that is hard to come by in Midtown Manhattan. The fact that real Irish are on board makes the Fitz all that more charming. The room are quite large for New York standards... More

Recently stayed at the Fitzpatrick on a business trip to New York. Found the hotel to be very friendly, extreamly clean and most importantly comfortable. I stayed In one of the suites which had everything needed. Enjoyed a few drinks in the lobby bar, which was friendly and relaxed. In all had an enjoyable week at the fitz.

your hotel was recommended by a friend and from start to finish I cannot commend the staff highly enough. As our flight arrived before checkin I emailed in advance re: possibility of an early checking, this was all arranged when we arrived. Rooms impeccable there are not too many hotels were the pictures reflect reality. Front of house, maids, porters... More

We stumbled on the Fitzpatrick Manhattan on short notice during a mid-January weekend. We chose location for proximity to Weill Cornell Hospital, but it's also convenient to Radio City Music Hall, Rockefeller Center, etc. On arrival, we were greeted by an enthusiastic, but kind and gentle staff who were eager to make our stay comfortable and memorable. Valet parking is... More

What an amazing hotel. The staff could not be any nicer and the hotel is in a fantastic location two blocks from Bloomingdales and right beside 5th ave. I would not stay anywhere else in New York. We had a suite. I would really recommend getting one as they are Amazing. Also ask for a highly floor as low floors... More

We booked this break through British Airways and from start to finish it was fantastic. With it being our honeymoon we got in touch with the hotel and the enthusiasm from the staff about our stay made it even better. Location - really great, especially for shopping and Central Park. There are a number of lovely bars near by, We... More

I recently stayed at the hotel on Business from Ireland. I normally stay downtown but for nostalgia sake I stayed here as I had done so with my parents as a kid when we visited NY for the first time from Ireland. To say I was disappointed by the lack of basic manners for many of the staff and the... More

Travelled to New York recently with family on a leisure/sightseeing trip and booked Fitzpatricks based on reviews on Tripadvisor .Whilst a bit more expensive it is worth the experience for the welcome alone extended by all the staff . The hotel lived up to all expectations from the welcome at reception on arrival to the very comfortable accommodation . Special... More

The hotel is well located near Bloomingdales. They upgraded us to a suite which was very roomy. The bathroom was very cold - it was 17 F outside, and the rooms were warm but the bathroom was very cold. The elevator was being repaired on the first day so it was an annoyance but once repaired everything was fine. The... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
