This hotel has beautiful rooms. The rooms are large (a plus for nyc) and the beds are very comfortable. The prices were very good and it's not in the busy part of Manhattan. This was a great place for girls night out weekend. Good location and great staff.

Unexpectedly large room for a city centre hotel, robes and all the items you expect, except internet access in the room! For this priveledge you had to pay an additional sum of about 14 dollars. Access was free in the lobby and bar, but still in this day and age internet access should be standard. Got it in Boston and... More

We three adults needed a spacious enough accommodation for a NY weekend. Dealing with the Fitzpatrick was very good and we got personal service from Mary at booking department to assist us in a very tight market. All of the staff were very friendly and personable throughout the stay. The suite was very spacious (especially for a Manhattan hotel). The... More

My cousin came into town and wanted to stay on Lexington to do some shopping . We booked our room and was pleasantly surprised . The valet immediately took my car when we arrived . To have a car in the city and a place to park was fantastic . They charged $59 for the overnight . This is reasonable... More

This is the third/fourth time we have stayed in Fitzpatrick's Manhattan and each time we have had a wonderful experience, from booking through to departure. The staff are top class: totally professional and always go to great lengths to help us plan our activities/eating/adventures around the city. This time round we were delighted to have the wonderful assistance of a newcomer... More

Aside from a very helpful waitress and the housekeeping staff, we were highly disappointed in the level of personal service. In particular, the Irish guy at reception was arrogant and very unhelpful when we asked for local advice. Also, we witnessed him having a dispute with a member of staff, and bad mouthing another customer. This was very unprofessional and... More

Pros: Location, staff, layout of rooms (we had a 1 BR suite), robes, slippers, toiletries, quiet Cons: Pillows were hard (one's head wouldn't even make an impression in them), room wasn't cool enough and this was centrally controlled (we asked for a fan which never arrived), there were 3 of us in the room and only 2 sets of towels,... My third stay here and I come back because of the location of staff. Just 3 blocks from the park (57th and Lex), right in the heart of great shopping, dining and more. 2 mins from Bloomies. Staff are very helpful and knowledgable. Rooms are classically furnished, but of good quality. It's an Irish hotel with lots of Irish themes... More

We spent 4 nights in this hotel. We were upgraded to a suite for 2 nights which was great. Both rooms were very quiet. Service was excellent and very friendly. Everybody was very helpful. Location was perfect as near subway and taxis are plentyful and affordable to many places of interest. The only 2 things that stop it from being... More

We were originally thinking of staying outside of the city to reduce the overall cost of our trip, but on a recommendation for this hotel we weighed up the options and were thrilled we decided to stay here. We are a family of four and wanted a room with two double beds, so when we made enquiries we were offered... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
