I only stayed one night on business.i don't know the cost as someone else was paying but given the standard of the bedroom, living room and bathroom (it was a suite) I doubt this is a cheap hotel. It was furnished old-fashioned New York City style. Dark woods, comfortable, elegant furniture and everything spotless. As with many midtown hotels no... More

Ä true gem of a hotel. Lovely, spacious rooms with sleek, Euro styling. Comfortable bed and pillows and small size amenities that are high-quality. Extra plus----so quiet! Staff was accommodating and every request was fulfilled in a very timely manner. True hospitality was provided with lovely Irish charm. I highly recommend this hotel.

Plus points; helpful and accommodating staff, very comfortable bed, quiet room, wonderful powerful shower, good quality toiletries, location convenient for sights, park and shopping. Minus points; dark room (had to have the light on all day), room on the small side (but maybe normal by NY standards), furniture poor quality with some handles missing, only one bathrobe per room, curtain... From the moment we arrived and given an upgrades as it was our anniversary, nothing was to much trouble, staff good, interpersonal skills front of house staff excellent. Room was spacious, comfortable with a high degree of cleanliness. Location is superb very central which makes it easy to explore without having to resort to to many cabs. We would definitely... The staff are really great. Very good and friendly service. BUT the only facility for a working computer and printer is in the small lobby which means that quite apart from the noise, half the guests think you are staff! It would be really helpful to set aside a separate room as a business center. Rooms very comfortable but the... More

This was not our first visit to New York but our first time to stay in Fitzpatrick's. Well located close to shopping and Central Park. Great welcome from Shane, Chris and Kevin. Nothing a problem and great advice from Victor and the rest of the front of house Team really made our visit to NYC special. I don't think we... More

Little to say really. Lukewarm welcome on arrival. No athmosphere. Bar very quiet and no lounges really to relax in. Spent most of time out of the hotel and any time in the hotel in our room. Room given to us was very loud. Oldfashioned windows blocked none of the street noise. Staff seemed totally uninterested in working except for... More

After years of not staying there anymore, I decided to give the Fitz another chance, mainly because its midtown location is convenient for my purposes. It was a truly déjà vu experience. Everything in the room was worn out and tired, the TV a relict of the last century, the curtains a shame to behold. The water in the shower... More

My husband and I stayed at the Fitzpatrick Manhattan Hotel for 3 nights in January. For the price, you can't beat it. The rooms are spacious and the location is great. I'd ask for a room on the back of the hotel so that you can minimize street noise. We had a back room and couldn't hear anything from the... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
