I have stayed in a number of luxury hotels in New York over the last few years and although a big Four Seasons fan elsewhere (I’ve stayed in about 30 of their properties) I had not previously stayed at the FSNY, as I couldn’t bring myself to justify the (high) price in a city with such a strong offering of... We went for the weekend and I have to say the employees are the best part. Everyone from the concierge to the bellman, housekeeping, etc. were spot on, very professional and extremely polite. It was my daughter birthday and they snuck a beautiful little chocolate cake into the room. It was even personalized in chocolate! She felt like a princess,... More

On previous trips to New York I've stayed at the Ritz Carlton Central Park (nice, particularly the club floor) and the Carlyle (faded grandeur, bit claustrophobic), but this time we decided to give the Four Seasons a try and we weren't disappointed, it leaves everywhere else in the shade. The lobby is modernly opulent and spacious and just feels in... More

We were in NYC for a weekend and stayed here for the first time. The service and attention was typical of the Four Seasons. The concierge was especially helpful with "local foodie" recommendations and transportation over a very cold weekend. The rooms are as one would expect for a five star hotel. Our only complaint is that we had to... More

We planned a pre-wedding weekend for a friend in NYC and since many of us already live in the city and we kept things local, we decided to stay at the Four Seasons. The goal was to have everyone together at a home base in a central location and it was the perfect choice -- conveniently located to all of... More

The Four Seasons NYC was beautiful, clean, welcoming, and provided us with an incredible and memorable weekend with girl friends. I was particularly blown away by the spa and the gym. I can not wait to find a reason to go back again!

Celebrating a weekend with friends and had a 1 bedroom suite on the 32nd floor with a view of the city and a fabulous terrace. Staff very accommodating and efficient. Enjoyed a nice workout in the fitness room which was very well equipped. Breakfast in the Garden Terrace was hopping, but plenty of attentive staff on a Saturday morning. They... More

The NYC Four Seasons Hotel was a wonderful experience for my wife and me. Each person we encountered greeted us warmly, our room was lovely with a broad city view and our evening night cap in the lobby lounge was very enjoyable.

This is long overdue but well deserved. I was proposing to my girlfriend on June 14th and had booked a hotel room at the Four Seasons for that night. Before proposing I snuck over and checked in early so we could easily go back to our room later that night. While I was checking in the entire staff was aware... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
