Over the years we've tried lots of hotels in New York. Some we stayed ourselves, some we went because friends or family were staying there. We like to spend our time around Madison avenue and the upper East in general with a few dips on the 5th when it gets less crowded. So for us the Four Seasons is ideally... More

Stayed in April, business meeting. Location is great, easy to get anywhere. Kind of a weird set up, where upon entry you see concierge, bar, restaurant, but have to ask for check-in spot, which is "hidden" up the stairs to the side of elevators. Mind you, there is staff around to direct you, but still, found it unusual. Biggest beef... More

This hotel is in the best location in NY city. The room are big, nice and clean. Grate view from my room and the staff are friendly. It is not a cheap hotel but you get what you pay for. It is well worth the money

In terms of the location, the hotel was the best located one in the NYC. Rooms are very large and good views. The breakfast was really good except being a bit expensive. The personnel was very friendly. It was a bit expensive hotel but you get more than you paid.

Four seasons earns its reputation in this east side Manhattan hotel. From the moment we walked in the door to the minute we left, all of the staff were calm, helpful and friendly- setting the ambiance for a great stay and making us feel like valued guests. Our spacious room had magnificent views over Central Park and west. Every amenity... More

Almost at the corner of Central Park, right in the area of 5th Avenue and Park Avenue shopping. Just a short distance from Grand Central Station. Warm welcome at the door and check in. Very attentive but not pushy staff. The bar is a super meeting place and the Lobby on the 57th/Park Avenue side is an excellent place to... More

My rating would definitely be five stars if it weren't for the Beanie Baby "closet" beside the registration desk. Yes, I understand that the owner made his money with those little creatures and is showing his gratitude--but in my view the display negatively interrupts the experience of checking into one of the world's greatest hotels. I wish the owner would... More

snow over much of NE USA (tho not in NYC) so a warm welcome at the Four Seasons was appreciated. Taxi driver didn't know whether we should enter from 57th St ('front'), or 58th which is at the 'rear'. Either way you need to go up stairs to check in. I was in a very comfortable large room, with large... More

Great hotel, great location. The higher rooms have a commanding view of the city. If you happen to be in NYC over the weekend try the brunch. I'd heard a lot about the famous New York brunch and the one on offer at the Four Seasons was everything I'd been lead to expect. I was visiting with friends & even... More

It has been a very long time but we came back to the city to check out World Trade Center and do some shopping. Loved our suite at FS - it was huge. One very important thing they did not tell use is you have to turn your privacy button on or else the maid is going to wake you... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
