I first stayed at the Beekman 32 years ago, at a time when corporations had many of the apartments on long-term lease and rented them by the week when they weren't being used. For a 22 year old on his first trip to New York, this was a great deal, and what I liked about the Beekman at the time... More

Thank you for your 'love letter' to the hotel and staff. We all appreciate your taking the time and laudable commentary towards the staff. Again, thank you and we look forward to your next visit. More

The suite where I and family members stayed in October 2011 showed its age, particularly in the carpeting and upholstery. However, the place was clean and very pleasant. The restaurant at the top floor was excellent. The meals and service were great! Altogether, a good value. Although a bit far from the nearest subway station, we would definitely stay there... More

The Ward family stayed for a week 29.12.11-4.01.12 After reading some of the comments on trip advisor i was a little nervous about our stay. What a fabulous surprise we had. The hotel arranged our transfers from JFK and after a long flight it was lovely to see Maurillo (from the limo & town car company) in arrivals with our... More

Three of us stayed at the Beekman during a quick theatre weekend in NYC. It is not easy to find a reasonably priced triple room that is actually comfortable. It is also challenging to find hotels in NYC that will allow you to check in on Saturday for a two-night stay, and they were obliging. Our suite was a lot... More

The Beekman Tower Hotel is a moderately-priced (for NYC), somewhat shabby, hotel located on the East Side of Manhattan near the United Nations on the corner of First Avenue. My father reserved a suite and it was spacious - but not exactly of the quality one would expect from a "four star" (whatever that means) hotel. I slept on the... More

Well, the best things i can say about this hotel were that the suite was roomy and the location was good. Other than that, the room and furnishings were old and the mattress and mattress pad had a huge, suspicious yellow stain on it. They did replace the mattress, but it kind of gave us a queasy feeling about the... More

We did love the BBC show but not so much your review, though we certainly understand the concerns expressed. All our bedding has been replaced over the past year and half but, apparently, we used an older mattress bad that was not stained but clearly past its prime and discarded – we’re now reviewing our entire inventory. Happy you enjoyed... More

We stayed 2 nights at the Beekman Hotel 19th and 20th December and had the most wonderful stay. It was our first time visiting New York. The hotel was lovely, felt very 'boutique', the rooms were very good size and very clean and ideal for our two day stay. The hotel was situated on the east of Manhatten over looking... More

You would think that with a four star hotel the service would be better. I currently stayed at the Beekman Tower Hotel for vacation with my mother and daughter, and was extremely disappointed in the quality of service that we received. The first night we were taken care of without fail but each night after that the service became worse.... More

Every day my team strives for continued improvement, as we know perfection is unrealistic but a carrot none the less, as individual guests have different requirements and perceptions. As a hotel, we are always looking to reviews and internal surveys as action points for correction. In this regard, please follow-up with me as I would like to understand the “service”... More

We booked this hotel on relatively short notice for Christmas in NYC at a very good price. The location is perfect, close enough to walk everywhere we wanted to go but far enough from the noise and tourists. The room was clean but it was very ugly - old carpets, a sleeper sofa that needed reupholstering instead of a tacky... More

I selected this hotel because of the charm of an old, Art Deco building with large rooms, and we have found ourselves a new home away from home when in NYC. The geographic area is safe and quiet (a very nice switch from the Times Square area!); the staff are very courteous and professional; and our room was huge! Since... More
